*Aster gave a small nod and followed Ara into the forest. She wasn't sure what the deal was with Ara and Shadow, but there was no point in learning now. She'd have to fill Astrid in later, unless she already knew. There was a good chance that Astrid was listening in, but Aster didn't care. Astrid would just have to suck it up and calm down.*
"Will do."
*That was all she said. The more she interacted and spoke with Ara, the more Astrid was fighting to get back in control.*
*The moment the two enter the forest, screams, hissing, laughter and whispers filled the area, dark entities watched from afar, and would tap on both parties shoulders, tug on clothing or merely appear and vanish into thin air, Ara took a deep breath and held out an arm, shadows followed as though she was cutting through them, suddenly she stopped and slowly turned around. The air was suffocating and in the distance a very distinct howling could be heard and the clamoring spirits grew louder and dark figures appeared, their heads twitching violently. With a painful grunt Ara grabbed her head and stumbled into the tree behind her, her head was throbbing and she tried to keep in control*
"FINE!!!!!! BUT ONLY IF YOU TELL ME WHERE HE IS!!"
*She screamed out until her insides exploded, covering Aster in her blood. The shadows gathered, creating a massive, antlered figure with piercing red eyes, and it ran straight towards Aster*
*Aster was shocked, to say the least, but she snapped out of it and drew her gun. She aimed the gun, despite feeling Astrid trying to get back in control. Aster, stop it! You know what she means to him! Astrid screamed, but Aster just shook her head and fired. She shot three rounds, making sure they hit their intended target, and then ran like hell. Ara had told her to run once it was done, and that's exactly what she was going to do.*
*The shadow creature Stilton it's tracks and tilted it's head, the bullets went through and it seemed confused more then anything, but made a large howl in pain once a cyan spike went through it, and not before long a tiny orb followed Astrid then spot out in front of her, almost seeming to be leading her somewhere*
*Aster had no idea what was happening, but she figured that following the floating orb thing was a better option than turning and facing the freakish shadow demon. The bullets hadn't seemed to affect it, and she had to admit that it worried her.*
"Shiiiit- Who the hell gave me control?!"
*She snapped to herself out loud, following after the orb to wherever their destination might be. She didn't seem to care at this point, either. So long as it was away from here.*
*The orb led Aster to the truck at first, hovering over Eros who tried smacking the orb with his tiny chameleon hands, and even stood up a little, his scales lit up in bright colors and he was insistent on wanting the orb, also like he was when Ara left him behind….he pouted a little as he swiped at the orb and was getting darker*
*Aster got in the driver's seat of the truck and turned it on, picking up Eros and moving him to the other seat. She wasn't sure whether she should leave, or see if Ara was coming. No. She lost too much blood to still be alive. We have to go. She determined as she shifted gears and began to leave.*
*Eros pouted as he was moved and tilted his head as he watched the orb go through the windshield, the orb led Aster to further away from town, slowly the trees were thickening and soon all the road were cracked and seemed unused, leaving bit of an eerie vibe so to speak. After a while a wooden cabin came into view with smoke coming out of a brick chimney and seemed warm and inviting despite how dark the area surrounding it was gotten, never would one think that a dark place could having such an inviting tone to it, the orb shot through the door. Inside was a cozy space with fur rugs lining the floor and an ebony figure with feathery fur longing down his back, he was slender with upward curled horns and a short, dark blue mohawk, he tilted his head slightly the moment the orb came in, which vanished*
