I-" *She hesitated, trying to keep herself under control. It was hard, though, when she could hear Aster laughing in the background.* "You don't make me feel sane, Cress. You make me feel comfortable. I don't worry about acting 'normal', because I know you don't care." *This wasn't how this conversation was supposed to go, and she was starting to freak herself out a bit.* "Y-You're right. I would have kept you in the dark if I could have. I didn't want you to have to deal with Aster or the others. I just- I didn't want to be a burden. They always scare people away. She might not keep her word, but I do." *She sounded irritated at that last bit, but she didn't want to get into it right now.* "I'm just glad you didn't meet Ariadne, to be honest. I haven't seen her in . . a while." *She mumbled, almost to herself. She shook her head after a moment, clearing her thoughts before she could go back to darker times.* "Let's go then, shall we? Sorry we couldn't find any teeth for your collection by the way." *She began heading towards the gate, pausing and looking back at him. She couldn't tell if he still planned to follow behind her, but she didn't want to ask directly.* |

"Cress has work tomorrow…sadly.." *He groaned, and was walking closely by Astrid's side, he had no sense of personal space for he never truly experienced it himself, but he did remember being scolded earlier for his flirtatious actions and rubbed his chin which was starting to get scruffy, Astrid will scream at Cress for this would she? So confusing, how is Cress supposed to know?, he was lost in deep thought, but still walked extremely close to Astrid* |

"Yeah. . about that. I'm giving Aster full control tomorrow, so if I call you. . don't pick up." *She knew it was an odd request, but it was important. Aster was still trying to piss her off just for entertainment, and hurting Cress would be the easiest way by far. She kicked at small rocks on the sidewalk while they walked, trying to find something to hyper fixate on. She pulled out her gloves from her pocket, but didn't put them on. Aster would just burn them anyways, so what was the point? She hardly even noticed how close he was walking, and even if she did, she wouldn't have cared. *Cress released a very, demented jester's laughed then spun around and did flips around Astrid, then jumped in front of Astrid, his eyes burning a bright purple flame, and his hair was on fire in the same manner, but this time black flames seemed to have formed around curled horns that aren't really there and even seem to have a slender, arrow pointed tail swaying to and fro, he had a hellish smirk on his face that wasn't his* "How cute, you think Cress couldn't handle some madness? So long she doesn't touch Medusa alllllllll sHould Be fine!!!!! KHEHEHEHEHHEH HEHEH HHAHAAHAH WWHHWWHAHHAAHAHHAAHHAHHEHHSHAH" *His laughter echoed throughout the area and with a snap, he and Astrid appeared in front of her home through a thick cloud of purple smoke, once the smoke had vanished Cress was hunched over with spikes forming on his shoulders* |

She wasn't really afraid of this second personality of his, and she knew it wouldn't hurt her. "T-thing?!" *Cress jumped back and glared at Astrid* "How rude!! Cress didn't call Aster names! Or or call Astrid names either!" *His voice was a bit strained, and his face that seemed demented swiftly turned into a nervous wreak, his eyes went back to their original orange color and seemed to water a little, his bottom lip quivered and he quickly looked down, causing everything to shift back into place, and the flames went out as swiftly as they had came, his fingers twitched and he felt his entire being drowning once more into the dark ocean of depression, Calm down Cress she was talking about m- Cress doesn't care!!! We didn't do anything to her or say anything like she just did! We are one, Cress will never leave you, Cress would rather go back into the fucken cage then have you be insulted!!!! But it hurts!!!! Cress thought Astrid wouldn't say th- STOP BEING SO EMOTIONAL CRESS!!! By hell you have some shit to work through…. The longer Cress was near Astrid the more pained he seemed, he couldn't look her in the eye and wasn't sure what to feel, he felt pissed, that she would say "thing" like he was some freak, but he knew the other was right, he was being dramatic but after everything he had been through it felt he had to defend the other, sure he was a pain but Cress learned to accept this, and if Astrid speaks poorly he will be sure to swiftly, perhaps painfully, correct her of her ways, perhaps punish her the same way his masters had done with him, pure isolation. Cress didn't say another word as he vanished out of thin air, but he did leave Astrid with a sharp, deathly glare* |
