@Mirku there's a few different methods but some people make folders off site that are dated so you can verify the images were uploaded prior to the wolf being found or some people like me post on another topic called raise and chase where they can link you to the exact time the wolf was chased

Another option: store them privately until needed, as long as it's a screenshot that shows your ownership of the exact wolf pre-chasing.

Yes, it's recommended to include marks, even as text :) helps to identify the wolf better.

@Ironbeast - Benefit of storing privately until needed is that you don't have to worry about pic links breaking in the interim (or stay on top of public logs). But most chased pop up within a few days to a week anyway, if they're going to escape the void.

I personally save the full-size wolf photo, screenshot with all info, and (if it's worth keeping track of, usually just for T3) a screenshot of the lineage, then scroll to find it if one of mine resurfaces, and (only as needed) upload to a direct image source (like in the above example).

Oh wow what a beauty, she's a T1 but I can see myself keeping her and changing her base if chaser doesn't want her back with proof.

Found a T1 yearling with Black merle patches. Could be a rechase, but the nose and the claws speak against it.
Gonna put her on TC after cooldown, unless the chaser wants her back.
