The small dark room was clearly no 5 star hotel and definitely a cell of some kind, but it offered privacy and enough darkness to sleeping in. "They've allowed me to somewhat free roam certain areas. Being able to converse with those who speak other languages is pleasant." Despite saying that, the dark dried blood on his clothes and unruly hair painted a different picture.

"It doesn't look pleasant.." He muttuered.  His gaze flicked all over the room, taking it all in. He was mapping it out in his head..seeing for ways out, weak points anything. After a moment he slowly walked, more like shuffled as hr kept absorbing the room. He moved stiffly in an effort to not cause himself any more pain

Heterochromic eyes followed the injured man as he moved around the stuffy room. "We are on opposing sides with conflicting viewpoints. I think it's going rather well." His cheeriness was not something to be mistaken for naivety. He was aware of what was going on around him and smart enough to conjure up escape plans.

Aaron kept looking around the room, "The base knows we are gone. They know we are out there somewhere, because I gave them the command to retreat." He said as he looked back at Valentine. "If they don't fins our bodies they'll know that we must have been taken captive."

He nodded in understanding. That was a bit of a relief, that if there was no bodies then they wouldn't be reported killed in action. Just missing. "Because we're underground, I haven't been able to pinpoint where we are. Or the time." If the sky had been visible, that would've offer them a wealth of knowledge.

Thank you, turns out it was covid that I caught from my grandparents when they came back from vaction. First time getting covid I think. Had a covid fever Kanye West induced nightmare lmao))

Valentine wasn't sure they would be found, hence his eagerness to explore as much of the enemy base as he could. It was still a possibility and a hopeful one. "This bunker is old, and I doubt it was owned by any of them originally, It's not super maze-like but it's still heavily guarded." He explained what he knew so far.

I can barely walk, I won't be able to make it out far in this base. They trust you to a certain extent. You'll have to be the one to manage to get out"
