i imagine that's how they cut open particularly tough-skinned prey since they don't necessarily have claws to tear into it. plus, I mean, fun time!! (I bet that's how they teach baby dragons to hunt, too-)

LMFAO EXACTLY with rabbits/hares, sometimes wild dogs/cats, progressing up to deer and thats about when they grow out of it (doing it naturally) cause then they're able to hunt without needing to kill an animal from basically shock and repeated wounds. some dragons do, mainly ice dragons, cause of where they like to live and the prey that comes with it but yeah!
