If you're looking for something specific, keep in mind that this is sorted alphabetically. ~~ Wolf Descriptors3M, 4M, etc. = The number of markings a wolf has. A 3M wolf has three markings. You could also use 4rM, meaning "four rare/raffle marks" or 4eM meaning "four event marks." Also, you can write 5m3r, meaning "five markings, three of which are rare." Can also be written lowercase (3m, 4m). Also, may mean "months" (as in "1Y, 4M") depending on the context. Adol = A wolf in its adolescent stage. Alb = A wolf with the 'albino' secondary mutation. BO = Breed Only. Can also be 'buy-out' (referring to buying a trade in the trading center) depending on the context. b&b = Referring to the eye color, "hetero brown and blue." b&w = Referring to the eye color, "hetero black and white." Carrier = A wolf who does not have a visible mutation, but "carries" the gene for the mutation and can have mutated pups (usually if bred with another carrier or a wolf with the visible mutation). Chased = A wolf that has been chased from another player's den and is found as a New Befriended Wolf. DIB = Distantly Inbred, referring to a wolf that is inbred, but has it far back in the family tree. ELF = Extremley Low Fertility F = Female. FS = For Sale. Fodder = Expendable pups, not worth much and can sometimes be used for Enclave Quests or Pupsitting, and even pup training to heighten stats. GA = Giveaway. Gen 2, 3, etc. = Refers to the length of the wolf's ancestry. For instance, a new befriended wolf is Gen 1. A wolf with NBW parents is Gen 2. Can also be written as G2, G3, etc. Het = Heterochromia. For instance, a "het white and black" wolf has one white eye and one black eye. Heat = Whenever a female is in a heat cycle. IB/Dirty = Inbred; the wolf's parents are related OR one of the wolf's ancestors has parents who are related. Inuit = Inuit unders, a random marking applicator marking, meaning that you must use a random marking applicator to get the marking, which makes it rarer than other markings. Iri = A wolf with the iridium base. ISO = In Search Of. LF = Depending on context can be "Looking For" or "Low Fertility." Lvl = Level, the level of a wolf. M = Male Mel/Mela = Referring to the secondary mutation, 'melanism.' Mono = A wolf with a monochrome base. Mutie = A wolf with a mutation (like albinism, melanism, or brachycephaly) NAP = Newly Adopted Pup, a pup that is adopted from the enclave (definition is later on). NBW = A New Befriended Wolf; a wolf found in explore. Neph = A wolf with the Nepheline base. NIB/Clean = A wolf with no inbreeding and often with no COI. NLB = A wolf that is not present in the leaderboard. PAC = A wolf that is a potential/possible albinism carrier, or rather, may or may not carry albinism. Pie/Pies = A wolf with the piebald secondary mutation. PMC = A wolf that is a potential/possible melanism carrier, or rather, may or may not carry melanism. Potatoes/Potato Pups = Pups that have no good features (like low stats, few marks, or maybe they're ugly) Pug/Brachy = Referring to the Brachycephaly mutation. Rechased = A game-generated new befriended wolf that somebody has caught and chased again, and has been found by another player. The wolf is marked as a chased wolf by the game because somebody has chased it, but they lack rare markings and bases. Rechased may also refer to a wolf that has been caught in explore and chased again. Serp = A wolf with the Serpentine base. Stud Racing = Stud Racing is when a player sends a breeding request to another player's stud, and if the request isn't accepted within a certain amount of time, they'll turn to another stud to breed to instead. T1, T2, T3 (or TI, TII, TIII) = The rarity tier of the wolf's base color. Tier 1 is the most common; Tier 2 is uncommon; Tier 3 is rare. Special wolves have limited-edition bases from events and are outside the regular tier system, written as T* or Tier *. You can find a wolf's tier in their profile under Base Genetics; for instance, "Cool Light I" is Tier 1. It can also be written as t1, t2, t3, and t*. These can also refer to markings. T0 being a common marking, T1 being a grove marking (you can use some kind of applicator to get it), T2 being a raffle marking (a marking that can pass onto your wolf if you win a breeding with a "raffle stud,") T3 being an event marking (you must use an event applicator to get it), T6 being a breeding/combo marking (you must breed two specific bases together and get a random chance of getting this marking), T7 being a random marking applicator marking (you can only get it if you use a random marking applicator), and T8 being a new befriended wolf marking (exclusive and only found on new befriended wolves). Pool = A hidden repository of wolves that have been chased by players and may (or may not) come back once as NBWs found in explore, their lineage wiped; on the befriending screen they'll be recognizable from the purple shooting star in the upper left corner. People may often say, "I hope my wolf will make it through the pool," meaning they hope their wolf will be befriended. (a wolf may only pass once through the pool; if chased again it will be lost forever)" RC/RNC/R&C/RnC = Raise and Chase, a process where people take puppies and raise them until they are adults, then chase them for other people to find as a New Befriended Wolf, typically people chase rarer wolves, but there is not a 100% chance the wolf will make it to someone else. Refunded = To avoid the word "free" the word refunded is used, because technically, if you have to pay beforehand to get something, it is not 100% free. Typically this is used for an exchange where part of, or all of something is given back to the player, such as "a refunded stud request." RO = Rollover.
