I heard cat genetics! I know I'm late to the party. But dog genetics are my absolute favorite. But most furred animals share similar color genes and it's almost all translatable. |

DarkHeart, your oc set up sounds like a dream  most of my OCS are veryyy old, back when I didn't know what an allele was  and my initial layout of their family trees was TRASH. So now all my cats are messed up, and figuring out their family trees are like hell  luckily I don't get art black very often, I would be done for |

Numbers getting a bit messed up- True :] I adore genetics. Their rlly simple once you figure it out, but also rlly difficult to then untrained eye. My personal route was to spend 6 hours strait researching until my brain almost combusted XD |

I'm a small scale dog breeder so the genetics are essential to make sure my pups can be as healthy as they can be. I've put years into the research and I love playing "guess the genes" for dogs I meet. I was able to predict exactly what the pups of my last litter would look like. And then I even got bored at some point and made a Google sheets genetic calculator. |

aww my mom bred Britney spaniels when I was a kid, could always catch me sitting with a pile of puppies petting the momma dog, little kid heaven XD |

That's very sweet :) I work at an animal shelter+Foster kittens, so I am also constantly covered in cats <3 I love trying to figure out what their genetics might be, and twice now I've fostered pure bred kittens, a Mainecoon and a Turkish Van. Genetics are great ^^ |
