Umbra and her two emissaries approached the tundra, they where very pleased to have the opportunity to make an alliance with this pack.

Umbra and Nivis walked at the same pace to emphasis their status as co-leaders, Umbra's dark pelt seeming to melt into the shadows and Nivis's snow coloured one allowed him perfect camouflage.

Glacies walked about ten paw steps behind them, since although she was not related to either of the leaders, she was a herbalist and therefore highly respected in her pack.

Glacies was muttering to herself about different herbs and if she should have brought some as a gift, Umbra shushes her exasperated by her over-active herbalist. 		𓆏Shetanna Claus ☃️

A cold, biting wind softly blew through the stillness of the night. At first glance things appeared to be motionless in the vast, unending landscape, but what hid under the cover of the shadows. The new moon hung high in the air as a pair of eyes watched the trio approaching the border of the pack's territory. Zazmor, the resident scout, approached them slowly with his tail lowered to appear friendly, yet wary about such late-night visitors. "Who goes there?" a male voice called out to them once he was close enough to be within viewing distance.

Umbra cleared her throat, hoping it would steady her nerves.

"I am Umbra, I have come to meet your leader, I have brought two emissaries with me."

She stood regally, Nivis standing next to her for warmth and Glacies fiddling with the bundle of herbs she brought with her.

"I hope they are expecting me, if not I apologise for the intrusion."

She leaned into Nivis for confidence and felt joy that her mate moved closer to her.

"We are here to discuss an alliance with your pack." 		𓆏Shetanna Claus ☃️
