Iai explores The CavesThe cave was cold, too cold for any explorer without proper gear. Luckily you were smart and had brought the appropriate attire: jacket, boots, thick pants, scarf. Despite your layers though, your nose was still as red as a cherry. You had been wandered for a while now and yet every turn still surprised you. You had seen large bats resting on the cave ceiling. You had followed a long stream throughout part of the cave and almost gotten yourself hopelessly lost. And once you almost stumbled down a large, steep slope into jagged rocks and an untimely demise. Nevertheless you persisted until at last you saw something familiar. On the wall in front of you were two signs. One pointed to the left and the other to the right. They were clearly old and very rusty, though if you squinted and shone your light in just the right way you could swear the letters were almost visible. The right sign, it seemed, had a large 'M' at the front, though the rest was illegible. The left didn't have any letters and merely depicted a helmet. A) Go left B) Go right |

@Maplonia Deciding to investigate whatever it was your companion was chattering with, you made your way over. Giving a small wave to alert your Bearling to your presence, you leaned over and saw a familiar creature. Sitting atop the same sack you assisted in opening earlier was the Giftling. It's pointed ears, as you now realized they were shaped differently, flicked wildly as it nodded, clearly passionate about whatever it was the pair were speaking about. It looked up at you, startled, as if it had just realized your companion was not alone. You saw the tips of its ears redden as if it were almost embarrassed. You chuckled lightly and waved, smiling gently at the creature. It shook a paw at you in fake anger and chittered louder than before. Was it yelling at you? A) Ask what the pair were doing B) Invite to picnic @Iai After thinking you decided to go right. Following the tunnel it lead through, you blinked at the first lantern. As you continued you realized there were more and more, lighting the walls as though they was leading you somewhere. The walls glistened as though damp. You didn't touch them, worried that perhaps they were. Eventually you reached the entrance to a large, almost bare area. You could see rails and a severely rusted mine cart, filled with stones and what you thought might be some gold. In one corner were old, dusty bags all heaped into a pile. The lanterns in this area burned brightly, as though they had been lit more recently than the tunnel ones. Pickaxes littered the floor as though they had been thrown down. What in the world? A) Investigate Mine Cart B) Investigate Bags Mayfly explores The MountainsWith a backpack slung across one shoulder and a map of the mountain in your hands, you traversed the land with somewhat ease. It was certainly a better trip than last time and there was absolutely no way you'd get lost. Just as you thought that though, the winds picked up. In a stroke of bad luck, your map was ripped out of your hands. Above the tree line it flew, taunting you. Without it you risked the chance of getting hopelessly lost, but if you went to get it you may never find it. A) Run after it B) Continue without |
