Since the silence of spirits Since the dawn of separation It has been waiting For a grand new nation Far beyond the great lake And the copes trees There is a quiet sound Like the humming of bees Here it will be found A beacon of all To help all wolves through The first great fall |

Beast's eyes widened as they heard their name. A small part of them was glad they had listened to the prophecy as it meant the spirits might come back. Had the spirits returned before their birth, they would've been trained to speak to some of the spirits, as all herbalists are. "Come forth, all four of you." Pine of Charge Pack ordered. Beast stood up and listened to the command, taking slow and careful steps until they were facing a tail length or two from the rock. |

Meadow stretched her wings out and took a few flaps. She couldn't quite fly yet, but Leaves would eventually teach her. He was starting to drift off when she heard the words, "We've come to a decision. We'll listen to the prophecy." Meadow gasped. They'll listen? It's been eons since they listened to the spirits. She looked up to see who would embark on the journey. Uniba started listing off names: Beast, Tempest, Meadow, Alaska, Wolf 4. Wait? Meadow??? Her? Why was he chosen? She looked around flabbergasted at Uniba's decision. Meadow looked for Prena's gray coat, and padded up to her mother. "Why me?" She whimpered. "Shush child," Prena responded. As Prena shushed her pup, she nudged her forward. "Go, now. Make us proud, Meadow." Meadow walked up, tail between her legs and wings furled. He didn't know how to process this information. There were many other pups with better skill sets than her. Looking at the other pups that were called, she noted the stench of herbs on the one from Charge Pack. At least they would have a healer, Meadow figured. The white pup looked up at the rulers, why these five? What makes us different? Meadow hoped it wasn't just Uniba realizing their mistake of putting him under Leaves. |

She had kind of zoned out until one of her pack-mates nudged her. She blinked and looked over at Dusk. "Tempest, you need to go forward!" Dusk whispered to her. "What? Why?!" She barely kept her voice down as panic rose. "Am I in trouble?" She asked him. "No, just go up there." He replied, shoving her forward. Tempest slowly walk to where three others had gathered. She looked up at her leader meeting his gaze. His eyes shone with pride. His gaze gave her confidence and she stood with pride, her long claws shining. Her mane waved in the light breeze. She looked around at the other wolves, noticing that they were Adolescents like her. They were also from different packs. In fact, it was one wolf from each of the other packs except one. Why is that? She wonders and starts to go off into her own thoughts. |

Beast listened to the announcement and reluctantly turned to the wolves around them. They didn't hate the other packs as much as the other wolves in their pack did, but they still didn't like the thought of being alone with them. Unwilling to talk in such directly in front of the Alphas, they started walking to the far side of the clearing where the trees began to grow. With a quick glance behind them, they urged the other adolescents on. |

Meadow reluctantly followed behind the horned wolf. It seemed that they would be the leader of their "pack." Meadow was unsure how to take in this announcement. Where would they be going, the prophecy said nothing, that he recalled, about a journey. Oh, Uniba, why Meadow? She looked around. The stench of herbs was wafting off of the horned wolf, the manned wolf had a confidence around her, the third was just as unsure of herself as Meadow was. He snorted, imagine that. The two wingeds were the most unsure and uneasy. The Angelic Furs had always been used to change and taught to embrace it, but Meadow? Oh Meadow hated change. He would've rather bit off his own tail than change her ways. Enough of being unsure! "I'm Meadow?" She tentatively offered, wings slightly spread. She wasn't sure that the others were going to offer their names if no one did. "I'm training to be a gaurd?" She mumbled. "I dunno if we need to say that," He trailed off. |
