Cairo blinked, actually surprised. He wasn't aware the queen had died, it must have happened after he left. Shaking his head, he sighed. There went his mission to spy at the queen's party, and it meant an unhappy customer in the Scorpion Den. Never a good thing. "Hopefully she doesn't drag the continent into war, although you and your tribe has my condolences." He stated genuinely, something he didn't do often. But it's true; war had damaged him, at least. War had torn him and his brother apart, by technicality. But he couldn't think of his brother then. Right now he needed to figure out what he could do for some treasure; perhaps he could stay and travel with these guys, and sell information on them? Not a bad idea. Not like I care about them anyways. He thought with a small smile. |

A perfect opportunity to get more information. He thought, churning Hawk's comment in his head. Perhaps he could make one of them mad and they would shout something important about themselves, be it Sky, Clover, of Hawk. "Oh, really?" He stated somewhat doubtfully, gesturing to his tail and then back to the sleeping dragon. "I mean, I'm not so good myself, but I'm not certain there's too much special about a RainWing, with all due respect." He knew RainWings could camouflage and spit acid, but perhaps Clover had been specially trained. He shrugged nonchalantly, although his mind was exploring all the possibilities. |

Cairo couldn't stop his temper and he huffed, although he had originally intended to react more passively. Well, can't fix it now. He thought grimly, before giving in with a sigh. "Well I don't doubt it if you say so, but then how is she different?" He snapped back. "She could be different in way that makes her better or worse!" He threw his talons in the air dramatically. "I don't know, perhaps you could enlighten me then if this is so dire you need to snap at me for it, hm?" He realized his temper had gotten the better of him and he quickly exhaled. He genuinely was tired, and it didn't help him keep up his 'Gila' facade at all. Painting his face with a tired smile, he turned back to face Hawk. "I'm sorry… I shouldn't have snapped myself there. I'm… just tired. That's all." |

He hated not getting anything out of these dragons, but he had plenty of time he supposed. What he really did need was sleep, and although he didn't exactly like Clover telling him what to do, he relented. Mostly because he was tired, but maybe it would also make her think that he cared about her, to an extent. I hope she's more gullible than the rest. He thought with a glint of cunning shimmering in his brown eyes, if only for a moment. "Of course, miss." He said with a bow of his head to Clover. "I'm very sorry for the trouble; I was merely tired and cranky. It's been an awfully long journey. I hope you'll forgive me." He turned to Hawk. "I plan on resting, but first; My mother always told me never to rest angry. I hope we have no hard feelings?" He extended his talon in a shake. ( Edit: Going to head to sleep in real life as well. Goodnight and I had fun RPing with the both of you; see you tomorrow! ) |
