Shifter's Path ~ OOC!

Type of Shifter: Cat

Human appearance:  About average height, rather thin and lanky. Her hair is an absolute mess, and pitch black as well. It puffs around her face, almost like an afro but more.. mad scientist-y. Her eyes are dark brown and her face is very sweet, betrayingly so. Like Dante, she's also rather nimble, with long, delicate fingers. On the rare occasions she's in human form, Maya wears a somewhat loose top and leggings. No shoes. Her clothes are rather ripped and dirty, she hasn't bothered cleaning them for a while.

Shifted appearance: A brown\black tabby, rather darker than most. Like Dante, she has rather long fr and almost tufted ears. Her tail is slightly longer than average, but Maya is more... long. She's very slim, and very athletic. Instead of leaping like Dante, her strength is running.

Personality: This is a little complicated. Maya is quite sweet, gentle, calm. But a lot of the time, this is a facade. Maya will fuck you up, no doubt. She is sly, cunning, and very, very determined. But, once she makes a connection, the cat shifter is very loyal. She'd follow you to the ends of the earth if needed, and that is what she is doing in order to find Dante.

Backstory (optional): When their family was taken, Dante was taken away first. Maya and Simon, the two older kits were kept together. Simon didn't make it. The third year there, when he was seven and she was nearly ten, there was a malfunction and he was killed. Which made Maya even more determined to survive. The experiments changed her, making her more suited to running. Which was not expected, but certainly helped her. She wasn't affected as badly and can change to human, although definitely prefers to stay in her cat form. The one who caused the distraction to able Maya, Dante, and many others to escape was one of her friends and helped her for about six months before they parted ways. Maya travelled through many places to try find Dante and recently, she quite literally fell into this town. Tripping over a hidden branch, she rolled and was thrown into the air to land on the pavement in town borders. So she decided to stay, maybe for longer than usual as she figured out where Dante was. 

Maya was definitely Dante's favourite sibling, and with Simon definitely dead and no sign of their parents, (they were taken elsewhere) the she-cat decided to try find the young one.
