Sylvia seemed to be a year of eight at the time, she was very small and unhealthily pale. Sometimes, she'd twitch, shiver or cough in her sleep. Her breathing was different than most humans too. All of this was because she was sick. |

But Matthew stood still and said nothing for a while. He had some kind of weak connection to Nellie, one that she didn't really feel at all, but the connection, these visions that he called on, only showed Blue and Tsunami playing. All was good. ''If you'd like,'' he responded, bowing his head in respect. He turned towards the Chasers. ''Alright, just lift up your part of the blanket again, we're nearly there, kids.'' They weren't *his* kids, but they were just barely grown adults. They didn't say anything to the fact that they already were adults, and just grabbed the blanket. Scouty followed their example, and Matthew nudged the girl before doing the same. It'd be Verdance's choice whether to follow them or not. But with the visions Matthew had seen, it seems that she never did anything to hurt Nellie, so it would be fine to show her the den. Matthew could use his powers in this light, and he did; to protect his pack. |
