Tsunami wagged her tail, walking deeper into the cave system with assurance. Despite all the twists and turns, she seemed to know her way around it. Finally, she stopped at a chamber that looked like any other from the outside. The room was lit by glowing plants hanging from the ceiling that bathed the rock in a warm light. It was strangely warm, harboring a small trickling stream that flowed diagonally through the chamber. Soft furs and mosses were piled thickly around the room, creating several distinct nest shapes. Most were empty, but a few had one or more eggs inside, there were even some hatchlings, the source of many squeaks. Tsunami put down the egg in an empty nest as a little green wyvern approached her with curious coos.

In this room, most seemed to relax a little and Sylvia looked around in wonder, gasping. Oooh the pretty lights. And she squealed in delight when she saw babies. BABY DRAGONS!!! SO CUTE!!! Sylvia did slip off of Matthew's back, but she was a little too shy to just go and run around the room or even walk around the room. She watched the nests with interest, and she looked at all the distinct eggs. This was so interesting and beautiful!! And it was nice and warm for the babies and eggs!! And they were all so cute, and the eggs were kinda cute too and awww.
Sylvia sensed that magical feeling again that she got that night, though she didn't know what it was and why it was here. But she was sure of one thing. Her brother always told her dragons didn't exist, and always told her she was 'silly' when she told him about the flying shapes she saw out of her window, above the forest. Maybe this is where they came from!! But she had seen a lot of strange things in her life, especially regarding those woods, and her brother had always disregarded them as dreaming or not being true.

The little emerald dragon took interest in Sylvia, bouncing over to her and making trilling squeaks of excitement.

Sylvia stood there, not moving a muscle. She just gasped slightly and watched it. It. Was. So. Cute.
''Why does a wolf have dragons?'' Dahlia wondered. ''I mean no disrepect, and you don't have to answer it if you don't want to, I'm just curious... how did all of this happen?''

"Well, it started when I found an abandoned nest for the first time. The egg was so lonely, and it would die, so I took it into my den and built a nest for it. Then, I basically got addicted." Tsunami laughed, watching the wyvern slowly climb up Sylvia's leg with determination.

''Ah, okay.'' Dahlia said, nodding respectfully. With her motherly personality, Dahlia could understand the tale. ''So do you look for abandoned nests and save eggs? I mean with so many... uh... sort of adopted kids you've gotta be very busy, eh?'' Dahlia chuckled a little. ''I mean, I know about pups. I can't imagine dragons.''

"Yes! Sometimes they aren't abandoned and I get a nasty surprise," She chuckled. "Most dragon species are pretty self-sufficient early on, so it's not too bad. The most difficult part is size, they can grow so big."

''Ooh, I see I see. That makes sense, I guess. We uh...'' Dahlia quieted down. ''...Don't have a lot of pups in the pack.'' Dahlia even turned her head away.
Sylvia was zoned out, unaware of the pain cutting through the air as she just stared at the dragon. On her leg. There was a dragon on her leg. She was staring at it HARD.

Tsunami didn't understand why she was suddenly sad, "Oh, ok." She said. The emerald dragon wriggled it's way higher until it finally reached her shoulder, where it promptly fell asleep.

Sylvia whimpered a little bit, then just carefully turned her head. Oh... it was asleep...
Must not move a single muscle. Must not wake up the dragon. Scouty just cleared her throat. ''So what'll happen to the egg now? And... why do dragons abandon their nests?''
