Casanova infodump

At birth, Cas was the biggest pup of the season. On top of this, he was a fast grower, and excelled at physical competition. Because of this, he was named in honor of the last hunting prodigy in the pack, Casanova. He was set to apprentice with Casanova Sr, and take his place at the head of the next party. He trained hard at first, enjoying the exercise, but when it came time to begin real hunting, Casanova would always find a way to get out of his lessons. He preferred spending his time getting to know his packmates over the violent teamwork hunting required. While hiding at the mountains edge by the river one day, the leaders daughter ran into him. She had been on her way to get a drink, and they sat together and talked. The two were quite opposite of each other, with him being soft, and social, and her being more independ and self serving. However, they got along extremely well, and became close friends, spending every day together. When it was announced that the alpha Windy had died young, Cross asked Casanova to become her mate, and lead as second in command with her. Though he did not believe himself worthy, he accepted in an attempt to help his best friend and true love. He excelled at leading far more than he ever had at anything else, and stood above an angry Casanova Sr, who refuses to speak to him or admit his wrongs.
