Posted 2023-01-27 13:52:11 #944014 Hello! I will try to get this post short and to the point, but we all know that never happens to me :') At the very least I'll try to make it easy to read. ABOUT ME Hi! I mainly go by my username or by Spirit online. I am recently eighteen years old, and I will listen to both she/her and they/them pronouns. It does not matter which one you use. I feel comfortable with both :) I have autism, and my schedule is pretty easy and irregular. Sometimes, Fridays and Saturdays are not weekends, but a Monday or a Wednesday is, for example. I love animals, and I have a few of them. At the moment I got 3 chickens, 2 guinea pigs and I'm taking care of an extra one, and the newest addition to the family is my dog, George McFloofin! He's being trained to be a service dog in training :) Also I want to point out that I always try to be very accepting of people. So there is no pressure with anything we do in roleplay or out of character. I try to never put any pressure or guilt on someone whatsoever :) ABOUT YOU I am pretty easygoing with who I roleplay with. I don't care that much about age, but please be in my age range. All I ask of you is that you are nice, friendly and understanding. Please don't ghost me, or be rude to me. If you have an issue, you can pick it up with me gently, but I've had many bad experiences online. I also ask you to have some patience. Sometimes I need some extra explaining or won't get something, and other times I won't be able to reply for a while or not have the energy to do so. ABOUT MY STYLE I write in writing format. This means that I will NOT write or roleplay as 'Drinks glass of water', I will instead write 'She drank the glass of water, gulping it down in one go'. That's the format I use. My responses can range from between a few lines anywhere between a few paragraphs. Usually, I break character limit and have to send multiple messages if I am doing a few paragraphs :') I hope you're okay with that. For the length, it all depends on what the situation calls for. If I am doing a sweep of, say, a town, I will describe that town as best as I can, paint the picture in my mind down as well as I can. And that just may take a few paragraphs. If my character is telling a long story, then it might take a few paragraphs as well. However, the sweep of the area is done, everything's been established and settled, then I don't see the need to write two whole entire character breaking messages just to write down that my character, for example, said yes, or no, or hello. Then, I will just write a mostly short message (it can, on occasion, get long but don't really count on it every time) depicting how my character is acting, feeling, what they are thinking, and their body language. So, that is my length. I will try to make sure your characters gets just as much attention as mine does, and I'd appreciate you doing the same. Along with that, I get VERY attached and excited to characters and plots. Also one more thing, is that I usually roleplay in 'sessions'. These are NOT set times, and you don't have to. I get that life can get very busy and I get that not everyone has a flexible schedule like mine where I can sit behind the laptop for hours and type back responses. However, I would appreciate someone that can reply as often as possible. I can't give any time frames here, but I think at least a few times a week. Me personally, I think I can usually respond almost every all day, depending on what I'm doing, how I'm feeling and depending on the day and my responsibilities. I will try to let you know if I get busy or can't reply for whatever reason. GENRES I will NOT do anything realistic, ONLY fantasy. If I am doing something realistic (such as a modern day world or a highschool setting) there will ALWAYS be magic involved and fantasy genre will take the day. This is NOT negotiable. I love; fantasy, magic, adventure I like; action, mystery, scifi I will NOT do romance or anything like that, gore, horror or mental health rps, or anything realistic. Realistic aspects ARE allowed, mind you, but they should not take the head role. Long story short, I will only do unrealistic stuff, fiction. Also; warning: I am cliche. Yes, I know that. No, I do not want to change it, nor will I. I like, no I LOVE cliche's and I will continue to write them and put my own twist on them (hopefully making it my own). But I love cliche's. And I would also love roleplays from the cliche's I love or to put them in the roleplays. Who knows. EXPECTATIONS I need to make clear that I do not want to be the only one having fun. I want you to have fun, too. I have been in many roleplays where I have to do everything. Plot drive, interactions, actions in the roleplay, etc etc. I also don't want you to decide EVERYTHING and me having to go along and all. I've had that before, too. There is no freedom in such situations. Basically, I want BOTH of us to be driven and interact with the plot, get new ideas, interact, etc etc. I want us to create something together. I want not only me to bring stuff to the roleplay; you bring your stuff too! Be involved! It feels very draining if I'm the only one bringing my ideas and stuff to the roleplay. I want your character to interact too, and to do stuff. I don't want to have to carry the roleplay, basically. Furthermore, this is more of a request. Please say if you are bothered by something. I would appreciate if you are honest, but friendly about it. I will try to do the same. Please please PLEASE also don't ghost me. Feel free to send checkups if I didn't send anything for a while, I will always try to get back at you as soon as I can. I might also send a message out of the blue, but I will absolutely NOT spam you on it, because there's simply no pressure. So, don't worry about that. Just, feel free to send messages if you feel like I haven't send anything for a while. (You'll see me go 'Oh my gosh I'm so sorry I forgot/thought I replied aaaa' 9/10 times lol) Along with that, both our characters should share the spotlight. I will try to do the same for you, so please also try to do the same for me :) We can discuss if we feel like our characters aren't getting equal attention ^^ OUT OF CHARACTER I am a BIG chatter. I will ramble on and on about anything. Now, if I get inspired and really like our roleplay and your characters, I will absolutely send memes, jokes, video clips and stuff that reminds me of our roleplays and characters. I am someone that goes so deep into discussion, that I might as well already be roleplaying LOL. I will share prompts, ask questions, discuss in depth about our characters, roleplays, ideas, how they'd react to something, etc etc. Now, I don't want to put a lot of pressure on you. I know talking to people can be very scary, and I don't always feel like it myself. There's definitely days where I just want to write, and not talk or discuss. However, I would really love and appreciate someone who can do that with me. Discussing is just one percent less fun than roleplaying :) I would love to get to know your characters and stories :D We don't need to talk about anything serious irl ^^ Also, I can't wait to get a roleplay in that makes me so inspired that the energy just runs and courses through me. When that happens, I will go more and more OOC and every time I see your name/notifications pop up I will get so happy :) I hope to find that energy back! I haven't had it in... a long while. PLOTS I don't have anything REALLY specific in mind but here is some of the stuff I like!! Deep friendships All platonic and it will stay that way. Having to keep them close or something, because people are after them, because magic, that sort of stuff. Sibling dynamic I occasionally like to write sibling dynamics where our characters are siblings Just anything we create together! As I said, I love cliche's, fantasy, all that kinda stuff! I am willing to make a predetermined plot and I am willing to hear out your plot. We can go with either from our plots or make up a new one from scratch together :) I don't mind. I've been writing this for over an hour now and I can't find myself to think of any plots... CHARACTERS Here are some of my characters :) Natalie SoulHunter She's a chaotic mage. Super friendly, but also super naive. The type to hear out a villain's 'Oh gosh I'm sorry' (when they obviously don't mean it) or the lamest excuse ever and go 'Oh, okay!' and fully believe them. I have a master document in the works for her, it's a work in progress but it's the first thing I've ever actually written down on a character instead of keeping it in my head. She is 14 years old (kinda) Malika Also fourteen (again, kinda) and a very talented crafter. Her interest lays in robots and AI. She crafts and makes machines and robots, putting them together like magic. She programmed a very sophisticated AI as well. Eventually, she was taken with her AI and now her memories are messed up. She's more than a human now, having been genetically modified. Elaine, the Experiment, Child Of The Sun Now, Elaine here is used in all kinds of differents plots. She is an experiment, and her memories can be removed. She is very used to waking up in hospitals and being very sick. What she does not know, is of her magic powers. In another plot she loves books and meets a 'stranger' (not really a stranger). In yet another, she meets a demon... Well, whole variety of plots. Aloïse She's a horse girl. Grew up with her father on a ranch, loving horses. Her father died under mysterious circumstances. The ranch was meant to go to her, but her... very bad family took it over instead, forcefully. She was not allowed to make any decisions. Seeing how unhappy the horses were, she released all of them into the wild (Yes, I am aware you should never release an animal into the wild and I do not promote it. Yet, this is fantasy...), took her own horse (two options for the horses here) and is still running from her angry family. She now rides and wanders around her horse. CONCLUSION I have so... so much characters Please, just ask me. I will base my character off of whatever character you are using along with what plot we are doing. Now, I am not ashamed to admit I have been working on this post for hours. That's how dedicated I am. I hope to find someone to roleplay with. I just want to write... a lot. I hope to find something that drives me :) If you feel like this interests me, feel free to comment on this post! I will try to get back at you as soon as I can. I don't know how much roleplays I will be able to take on though, since I get overwhelmed easily so I will try to slowly get through everything if this gets some attention. Yes, I read that! Full English. I'm gonna be honest, English is my third language so it might take me a while to read and understand your messages. The thing is, something came up today/last night which, it's pretty serious so I might accidentally ghost you again. Just being honest here. I swear, I did not mean to ghost you, though and I'm so sorry it happened.
Also, I remember you from the roleplay about the roommates! I must honestly say, I kind of left that one because I was uncomfy with the contents ^^' It got shut down pretty quickly after that, too. Not trying to blame anyone, just being honest here.
