Kari swirled the glass of champagne idly as she stares at the crowd around her dancing, chatting, gossiping, and eating small delicacies and drinking their fancy drinks. Kari wore a lovely blue silk dress with gold lacing, her shoulders bare and her arms draped in silks. Her long slender legs peeked through the slit of her dress revealing the gold heels. I hate these bloody parties she thinks to herself as a young man about her age walks over, actually more like saunters over with a charming smile. He wore fine clothes made of the most expensive silk and fabric. A black coat tail and green vest with silver buttons. "Hello my dear lady. Couldn't help but notice how lonely you look," he winks offering her a hand. Kari is a noble lady and required to dance like a lady but Kari wanted nothing to do with dancing so she came up with an excuse. "Oh I do apologize for deceiving you good sir but unfortunately I'm worn ragged. Perhaps in a few minutes I'll have the energy to dance with you," she gives him a polite smile as his charming smile falters. "No worries my dear lady a man like myself can wait for such beauty," he says before walking off. Kari sighs heavily with relief and stands up walking to the balcony doors. "I need some air," she muttered setting the glass of champagne down and stepping outside into the cool night air. She found it absurd that parties were held so late at night. People should be sleeping. Kari walks along the balcony to the set of stairs that lead down to the garden holding her long silks up as she walked. The gardens were in full bloom this time of year, spring, and were covered in colorful flowers and birds and insects. Karis heels clicked against the smooth marble  as she walked down the stairs to the carved smooth stone of the garden pathways. She slowly walked through the maze of bushes to her favorite spot which had a water fountain and a bench under a willow tree and a small koi pond next to it. Her heels could be heard clicking as she approached. 		Specterdog

Night would gather his gear and head out. He huffed and said, "Damn its kind of cold." He shivered and would climb a fence with ease and landed on the ground. He wandered the place with some mutters. He would sigh to himself saying "Hope i find something good to steal as my group needs it" he shook his head and would find a koi pond and he smiled. He dipped his hand into the water and the koi swam around his hand. He chuckled and took his left-over bread from lunch and started to feed them. He chuckled some more and pulled his hand out. He slowly stood up and took in his surroundings. He sighed with a smile then jerked his head towards the sound of heels clicking. He hid his stuff in a hurry and pulled his hood up. He covered himself in his hood and hid in a dark corner of the area hoping to not be seen by a human. If he was he would be caught for sure. (Is this good?) 		Raven Eclipse

Kari sighs heavily rubbing her head absently as she walks to the fountain. "Bloody heels," she mutters stopping by the fountain lip to pull the gold heels off and rub her ankles were the strap had chafed her skin. She sets them down on the ground and sits on the fountain sighing with a look of relief to finally escape the formalities. She looked up at the sky her gold brown hair shimmering in the moonlight as she looks at the stars. She was completely oblivious to the elf hidden in the shadows, her back to him and was rather enjoying herself being by herself. She hums a soft tune before getting up and walking barefooted to the koi pond her dress slightly dragging in the stone. She still did not see the hidden figure in the shadows. She wore plenty of jewelry and being this oblivious, she was an easy target to steal from. 		Specterdog

Night watched her with a keen interest, He heard her mutter something he could barely understand. He watched her gold brown hair with a very quiet sigh. He then took notice to her attire. He saw the jewelry and relised she would make a great target. He chuckled to himself and walked into the light with his hood still up. He quietly walked behind her and would say "Well hello their milady... Why are you out here in the cold? You know i heard an elf was stealing from many people at this time... You should head inside......" his face was hidden but his height was obvious to her. He was much taller than she was. He chuckled and crossed his arms with a tilt of his head pretending to be somewhat human. 		Raven Eclipse

Kari jumped up high stumbling backwards in surprise a hand to her chest. "How dear heavens! Don't you know it's rude to sneak up a lady?" Kari straightens up regaining her composure clasping her hands in front of her, looking him over noticing the hood over his head unable to see his face. "An elf you say?" She asks toying with her earrings. In all honesty she wouldn't mind having these dreadfully annoying pieces of metal suddenly disappearing. "I'll be fine by myself thank you," Kari says grabbing her heels. 		Specterdog

He would laugh very loud and said "Well an elf is much strong a female human..." he pulled his hood back and had a dagger in his hand. He flipped the dagger and said, "Now hand over the jewelry you're wearing, and you might get out of this with no scratches," he chuckled as his strange eyes shinned in the moon light. His eyes looked like a sea and an emerald in pure light. He would walk over to her and points the dagger at her neck and a soft smile. "I dont want to hurt such a beautiful lady but if its needed ill do anything for my family......" he said his smile turning blank. He shifted his long hair onto his shoulder and then stared at her with a soft sigh. 		Raven Eclipse

Kari freezes as he pulls a knife out and flinches. She looked angry at him dating to threaten her and demand she hadn't her jewelry over but then he said something about family and her face changed to uncertainty. Thieves can lie to confuse you… Kari looked down at the blade in his hand warily before slowly undoing her earrings her necklace bracelet and ring. "Happy," she demands handing them over to him. Whether he was lying or telling the truth it didn't matter. He had a knife and he was an elf. She had to admit he was a good looking elf sadly though good genes can run in any family. Doesn't make you rich unless you have the right job. 		Specterdog

He gives her a soft smile and puts the knife away. He bows and says "Thank you.... You have made some be able to eat tonight" He pulls his hood back up and would turn towards the sound of clacking of shoes, He frowned and gave one last bow before jumping into the bush very well hidden. He would sneak to his stuff and would grab it and leave. He leaves a book on accident and finds his way back to the fence thinking "She was very beautiful.... Maybe i should come back with a gift?" He shook his head saying "No she is a human and humans are bad......" He huffed and would sit next to the fence for a while before straightening as he stood up. He popped his back loudly with a wince and he would gather his stuff and head towards his hidden base. 		Raven Eclipse

A guard walks into view as Kari is peering after the elf studying her barefooted. "M'lady have you had too much to drink?" He asks as Kari straightens. "Excuse me?" She asks looking at him slightly annoyed. "I have not. In fact I haven't had enough," she says grabbing her heels and stalking off. Her mother is going to ask where her jewelry is and she had no good excuse. Her mother is a drama queen Sioux telling her that an elf stole her jewelry would cause her to freak out and baby Kari and Kari would rather not be forced to stay inside all day. She hoped to follow the elf back to where he came from but she couldn't do that in the night. She'd come out tomorrow morning to look. 		Specterdog
