I've also noticed that it is much harder to find specific battle encounters that are needed to fulfill a quest.  When I had the buck quest for the event, it took 5-6 or more full energy drains just to find 4 bucks.  After fulfilling the quest, they start showing up all over the place.  Coyote quest was easier because it only took two battle encounters to get 6 of them.  But that also took several energy drains.
Wonder if it's also just a me thing lol, because I never really notice how rare/common the encounters are until I actually need a specific one... kind of like how the watched pot never boils.

@Whirligig It took me less than an hour to fulfill the defeat 4 deer/ox quest. I used one normal energy bar, then refilled using a meat pie and only used about a third of the second energy bar when I defeated all needed enemies. I'm assuming it's just RNG luck of the draw type of thing. Guess I'll see when I get to the next quest

Having the same issue. Been more than 24 hrs with using several energy bars, bone marrows, guarana. I have encountered TWO deer and one coyote pack in that time. It's very irritating, and with the lunar event adding tears to the encounters I'm even more discouraged that I won't find enough for days.

I got the coyote quest yesterday and the buck quest today, I used several energy bars and tried different biomes, but I manage to find everything except the enemies I needed and I'm still at 0/6 and 0/4 🥲
Today is particularly frustrating because while exploring I keep finding both events stuff and not many enemies encounters 😅

Needing to battle even in normal explore when the lunar event is already pretty battle heavy is uhhhhhhh.

Not great.
I also genuinenly just dislike the quest as an interuption.
I really hoped that such a lovey dovey event wouldn't need as much fighting and heeeere we are. I really, really don't care for defeating a set amount of random enemies, and I am not happy I can't acces the parts that I like about the event untill I finish two stupid battle quests to be able to continue. I would of had really preffered if I could of just had continued dating and matchmaking with no change whatsoever, I don't care how "boring" people might find it, I just want to continue doing what the event has promised on the tin and nothing really else.

Well i dont know about you guys but i am enjoying the event so far. I'm doing the coyote quest and with so many wolves roaming around it makes sense that another species would try to boycott them lol

I was enjoying the event so but these quests are killing my desire to interact with the event.  It's not fun getting tons of the enemies you neeed when you don't need them, then getting none when you do need them . Add to that your practically locked out of the event until the quest are done & that really doesn't help. I actually lost out on the dating half of the event yesterday because I can't get the coyotes I need to progress that isn't fun to me, it's frustrating. 		Ironbeast

Not loving that this affectionate holiday event requires fighting to move on, especially when the requirements are so high and often block one from participating. This wasn't worth returning to the site for.

After playing for a bit, I just wanted to say that this has been my absolute favorite event so far! <3

Huge congrats to the wolvden team for such a great idea and execution. The matchmaking is fun, Eranthis is adorable, you can romance Tala, what more do you need? The matchmaking minigame is super well thought out and the UI is designed really well. I especially LOVE the addition of ALL kinds of wolves! Gay, lesbian, straight, pan, poly, trans, wolf x coyote pairings, plus I LOVE how they snuck ace in there too.

I understand why non-binary doesn't exist for pack members because it would really complicate the breeding mechanic, so having wolves identify as such for this event is so welcoming! Seeing representation for everyone across the sun warms my heart so much!

I have very few gripes (please let us be nice to the coyotes in explore!!! ) but overall this has just been a great time!

I wanted to say this because I feel sometimes that people only speak up when they have complaints or want something to change, so I wanted to spread a little positivity! Great job devs! So glad I came back from hiatus.
