Been in the prairie all day and no coyotes (boy am I running into a lot of bison though), whereas the whole day before I got the coyote quest I was running into them constantly. I swear the RNG just has it out for some of us. lol

I don't have that quest yet so take this for what's it's worth... I'm always running into packs of coyotes in the Coniferous Forest. Good luck!

My luck seems to be in deciduous today. Now I just need those pesky deer.

@Lyrak what helped me was bouncing between the Deciduous Forest and the Prarie. Sometimes I'd even exit fully out of wolvden and then return.

Deciduous forest and Taiga, or even the Grasslands.

Battle Chart this is super useful for finding where animals will be.

Not sure if they made rng better or if I got lucky. I got the coyote quest yesterday and just finished today, so pretty good experience. I found my coyote's in Deciduous Forest and Prairie. ^^

I am so torn now. Halcyon is best boy, but I also want to impress Tala SO badly.

This honestly might be my favorite event so far just because it's a total change of pace.
