@Mad Hyena#7152 I feel the same ;^; Bit sad to date all the wolves, find the one that our lead 'click' with, become attached and then we just let them go at the end as it was just another npc encounter? If that's the deal at the end of dating it would certainly ruin the immersion of the whole experience for me...

@Bluejay, it seems that way - at least, I re-read the news post many times but couldnt find a word about it. At first trying dating I felt it'd let us keep them - it lists their base, their eyes, that made me hopeful we'd get some sort of randomised wolf with traits listed but some random marks, kind of like Wenet cousins on Lioden. But not a word on it is found in the news post.

The texts are very misleading in light of never being able to claim them.

"I'm happy to see you again! Let's go somewhere and get to know each other; I should know everything about the future father of my puppies."

They speak as if they are truly considering our leader! But no matter what, our lead wont be good enough and they'll leave at the end of event. Its... depressing. There's a lot of "you're not good enough" in real life, to face it on Wolvden too is... sad. It makes me not want to do those dates. Ill mostly grind my currency in explore, so I dont get attached to one of them to be heartbroken later. 		Mad Hyena

Yeah, exactly! I always get so attached to those npc you get to 'talk' to, have some kind of story with them and this time it's ever worse in a sense?? because it's a love event - you are supposed to enjoy this little romance but what if I don't want to lose them after? ;^;

This time feels worse because this time its personal, our lead - our avatar, our representation in the Wolvden world - gets to date but we cant claim them so automatically... we're not good enough. Our leads and us, with them. That's sad, and definitely not what you're looking for in a "love month". At least in Lioden, the angles are softened by interactions being small, harmless flirts. Flirting doesnt mean a lot, dating does. Dating is many more steps more advance into a relationship than flirting... and even texts are made the way it implies these wolves are interested in a deeper relationship than just dates?..

Many people seem so excited about dates though. Just dates for the sake of dates? I wonder if its a teenager subculture something that I dont understand because Im adult. 		Mad Hyena

Like, for real if they say things like "I should know everything about the future father of my puppies." and then just disappear once the event is over I will be super sad cx Sure, they will throw some currency your way but this almost feels even worse if you know what I mean XD like "yeah, I was here all this time so you could earn some money, anyway gotta go". I would gladly take an opportunity to invite them into my pack than the currency really as I'm more into building my pack's lore than buying bases and such.
