The Heiya have always been at odds with their neighbors, the Shinrin. The Heiya pack is anxious towards outsiders due to frequent raids lead by barbaric Shinrin wolves. However, the Heiyan wolves are masters of disguise and are infamous for being two-faced whenever necessary. They happen to be extremely patriotic at heart, valuing the relationship between families and friends within their close-knit pack. When it comes to one and other, they are very accepting of their packmates and seem to celebrate differences between individuals. As a result, they are willing to fight to the death to protect those they care for, even if they're considered to be "spineless and easy pickings" to the other packs. Yet, the Heiya pack is still very humble and is skeptical about any help that might be offered. How can they not, when other packs are eager to lead raids at their doorstep? In such a way, they can be considered estranged among the other packs, perhaps a little arrogant when it comes to other packs being in need. The Heiya pack is all about the pack itself- they are family, and family does not get left behind. These wolves do not trust easy- earning their respect is a task most difficult. ---- The Shinrin run and act as barbaric animals, and as a result, the pack of the woodland is seen as such: animals. They are considered highly uncivilized and are never to be trusted. Shinrin wolves come from all walks of life, be it formerly exiled wolves, or wolves from far away. The band of canines is quite loosely run, with disputes frequently breaking out. What can be agreed on is that they love to live on the edge, and will never hesitate to resort to "brutal" mechanisms in order to get by for the day. They are thieves and bandits, and while their territory might seem pretty and generally serene, the pack is everything but. Entering their domain is considered dangerous and foolish. Some may enter, but not all leave. However, the Shinrin is likely the most accepting of outsiders, assuming the new faces are willing to get their paws dirty. At heart, this band of wolves is very hardworking, although perhaps not always the most polite towards each other when it comes to dinner time. But when it comes to working together, they can get tasks done like a well-oiled machine (assuming all disputes are taken care of prior). Most anyone is welcome to join the pack, so long as they can pull their weight. Slacking will not be tolerated here. If you're going to run with the wolves, you need to work like one. |
