"You are quite a charmer. No, I am fine. The mountains have been upset so the hunt has been down." His gaze flicked to the bone on the ground and he gently pawed at it, almost in contemplation. "I have.." He cleared his throat, "My den is large and sheltered from the cold. If you need to stay for a night I can spare the pelts for a rest." He had no idea why he was extending a friendly paw to this.. stranger. Maybe it was the desperation for companionship, maybe it was out of a paternal need. Either way he stared at the other wolf with a neutral stare. |

"I suppose that sounds nice" she said with a smile "let me grab some real quick" she said turning to the back of the den. Her figure slowly disappeared into the darkness. It felt like forever but she finally returned with something small in her mouth "let's go" she tried saying but it was hard to understand her with the item in her mouth |

Returning to his den, he was thankful he was a rather tidy individual as his space was rather clean. Various pelts lie on the grassy interior of the large rock overhang he took occupancy in. Setting his meal down, the wolf lied next to a ring of stone and made quick work of his meal. "Sit wherever you like." Arizona said after a rather un-handsomely burp escaped his gullet, wiping the remains on the soft furs underneath him. He may be tidy but the manners were horrid. |

She trotted along happily, until she got to the burrows. She stalked a rabbit and caught it. With it hanging from her mouth she walked back into the den. Out of respect she ate in the grass rather than in the pelts. She made quick work of the large rabbit but left the hind end untouched. She walked around to the back of the den and began digging behind the rock. She made a shallow hole and dropped the back end of the rabbit in the hole, but left one ear out of it. She picked up the ear and trotted back to where she ate the rabbit. She then dug another hole and buried it, after it was buried she bowed her head and began murmuring. After a few seconds she got up and walked to den. |

Eventually hearing the sound of digging, one lazy eye propped open and he stretched before standing and watching curiously at the ritual. Not speaking and simply observing, as she walked back over he cast her a very rare smirk. "What were you doing?" He asked lightly, still awkward in conversation but trying to be friendly. Noticing a small patch of rabbit hanging off of her mouth, Arizona gently swiped it away before shyly clearing his throat. Why was he a disaster at this? |

She walked past him to the place she had made hers, and flopped down. She quickly made sure her item was where she left it then put her head down. After he closed his eyes she just stared at him so many thoughts running through her mind. She sighed and fell asleep |

That would be a problem for tomorrow then, he decided as he lied down and watched the sunset dip below the trees. === In the morning, Arizona had been up early hunting, before the other had awoken. He scored big and felt only a little pride as he trotted into the den with an entire doe dragging from his jaws. Setting it down gently, Arizona walked over and nudged his companion with his wet nose in the side, attempting to wake her. |

"Go ahead. I am only sharing because.." He hesitated, "Its rough out there." An excuse he supposed. The two ate in peace before Arizona finally perked up. "I never caught your name. I'm Arizona, pack-" He cut himself off before scolding himself. "What.. are you called." |
