I think a simple solution would be to not hard lock that part of the event out while the quest is in progress - let us keep matchmaking and dating while we look for coyotes to fight! Because yes it's certainly frustrating, but it's a month long event so everyone should get there eventually if they explore the right places. I understand these limitations give us a goal to work towards, and they can't all be instant gratification. I don't think these quests are bad, they just take time. If people want to complete them Right Now, they can buy guarana. So that's possibly a consious design choice. Lots of grove items like elk hearts and instant birth feathers exist for speeding things up for the tryhards out there. I don't think the quests themselves are a problem - the problem is we can't enjoy the lovely event features until we finish them... Which depending on sheer luck can take days. So please consider leaving the event minigames open during the quests! The continuation of the story and more NPCs unlocked can be reward enough. (Apologies if this suggestion already exists, I searched a few key words and I couldn't find it... but also I have a hard time believing I am the first one to post it) |

I wouldn't be so frustrated if I could still do the mini game. =/ |

It would feel kind of unfair towards those who have already spent time and guarana to complete the quest while the remaining players can do matchmaking while questing without restrictions. Also, I wonder if there are more quests and storylines when more matchmaking is done. If we don't complete the quest before we reach certain amount of matchmaking, wouldn't multiple storylines overlap and generate some new bugs? |

Personally I feel when people don't want others who came later to have it "easy" when they had to "tough it out" holds back good and useful progress, because continual improvement is not a bad goal to have! And I know for a fact that the possibility of additional bugs doesn't deter you LOL, how many bug reports did you submit for groups? Twelve? X) |

I think, also, a large part of it is that it's completely involuntary, and something you can't opt out of once it's started either - I think if the mini games *have* to lock during the quest, for… some reason? then a solution could be the ability to opt in/out at any time. |

Wolvden and the sister site already do similiar things without a problem so I also don't particularly get how an annoying time intensive quest makes future matchmaking sets feel more rewarding, but that's just me I'd also very much preffer if future players wouldn't need to suffer the same things I did, ergo it becomes more fair in the first place. |

At least for the coyote quest you get a new date-able. We got nothing for the deer quest, which felt like a slap in the face. |
