River'rage's tail flicked, she raised her head to try and catch a scent. But her nose could only catch Falconflight and all th blood on the ground. She lowered her head "ugh, do you not bathe yourself" she exclaimed "I can't scent a thing!"
The sunlight bathed her silver pelt as she exited the den, cats around the clearing glanced at Featherpaw as she grabbed a fresh carp from the fresh-kill pile before sitting down outside the apprentice den. She wasn't hungry, but she didn't want everyone to think she was weaker because her mentor was gone so she ate the carp. She had heard that River'rage and Falconflight had gone out to find Smokedusk's body but the feeling of dread was awful. She knew it was time to stop grieving although it was hard. Wolfheart was telling stories to the young kits from the nursery again about his time in the Twolegplace as Magma'Scar was resting peacefully in the sun, her eyes filled with confusion and pity. Please tell me they'll find Smokedusk's body, atleast just for the vigil...
Sleetstar looked around her grieving clan worryingly. She hoped that River'rage and Falconflight would find the body soon. She saw Featherpaw sitting beside the fresh-kill pile eating a carp, her face looked dull and tired, and there was no expression in her eyes. Magmascar was looking confused and wary of the clan around her. I should go talk to them Sleetstar decided, struggling to put one paw in front of the other.
MagmaScar looked around trying her best to follow the scent of her leader without bothering others around her. She held the side of her stomach due to the movements of her young unborns, letting out a painful hiss as she took a moment to breath. "What is the meaning of this?.." She looked around for the leader with the back of her fur sticking up with pain. (She's expecting soon in about two or three nights ^^)
___ MapleFang Sat alone watching the busy and dull movements in the camp noticing MagmaScar's pain but he didn't want to do anything wrong so instead he walked to one of the warrior to take note of him him leaving for a solo patrol in order to cover the late patrol and hunting patrol so he might as well do both to keep busy and he can handle it on his own due to skilled strength n both as his size.

Featherpaw's dull expression scanned the camp. MapleFang looked lonely as he sat, watching the movement in the camp, Featherpaw almost felt a sense of pity for him, there was a deep longing in his eyes as if he upset about something, but his expression changed nothing. MagmaScar seemed to be in slight pain, it was clear to everyone in the camp that she was close to kitting and that she should be in the nursery, but they all knew she'd be upset if they told her to go there so they dared not say anything. Falconflight and River'rage still weren't back yet and Featherpaw noticed Sleetstar's glance at her, concerned as she began to stand up to call to the clan.
MagamScar Made her way to the leader with her tail curled to her side, trying her best to ignore the soft pain going through her body. "SleetStar! What is the major issue with the camp, It's so quiet and dull.." She looked around in worry before turning back the leader. "Where's SmokeDusk?" Magma had just realized that her mate had not returned after his border patrol and she knows the border switch schedule as the other warrior had already returned but not Smokedusk, it made her worried than she was.
P.S.- Changed her kits birth to sundown once she hears the news on smokedusk)
___ MapleFang patrolled around before catching the smell of blood and a familiar scent behind it too. He could smell River'rage and Falconflight, he could also see them up ahead but the scent he was now following went a different way from them. So following the familiar smell and tiny drops of blood, at that moment he wished someone else found this instead of him!...
Returning to camp.. MapleFang had returned to camp carrying a lifeless cat by the scruff, tears ran down his face as his eyes were locked onto the body he held onto. The cat he knew for so long and now he carried their limp body. He stopped at the beginning of the camp opening waiting... He could speak.. He couldn't let go even if it meant other warrior would have to pull him apart from the cat to be grieved for and buried.. He wasn't going to let go if it meant he could hold onto the little light he had left to keep.

MapleFang walked into the camp dragging the lifeless body of a cat and it took Featherpaw only a moment to realise who it was. "Smokedusk!" She cried in grief, rushing over to be near her old mentor's body, his body looked ragged and blood was all over him. "What happened!? Where did you find him?!" Another wave of grief flooded her as she questioned MapleFang, she knew it was wrong to question a superior warrior but she wanted to know. MapleFang lay him in the centre of camp, his expression betrayed nothing and MagmaScar's wail of grief could be heard all over camp. Featherpaw lay down next to Smokedusk, she knew he was most definitely gone but there was a sense of comfort withered as tears streamed down her face.
