Also, a mini update on my future stud: he's just reached level 6 today, with a total of 325 stats. His stats will be prioritized towards speed and agility, making him good for anyone aiming to breed chaser pups! I'm hoping to have him a few more levels up before the contest ends and I have him all fixed up and set as a stud  From what I can see so-far, he most likely won't be a super beefy stat stud by any means -- it's sadly the curse of having an NBW and not having the patience/resources to go all out with stats, but I will do what it takes to get him towards level 20 as fast as I can and set him in a role that could give him some decent stat increases once he reaches max level. Thank you everyone for your entries so-far! If there's anything you'd like to discuss about the upcoming stud (questions, comments, advice, etc.), both my pms and this chat are open! As long as the chat stays relatively on-topic (stud and/or design wise), I'd be more than happy for this thread to also be open for discussion :) |

I changed his base to Hydrangea and went for a more flowery look that would go well with the tone I chose. For markings I added Amor Undersides (adding more pink hues) and Wisp Ornate Spots for a pretty pattern that adds a little green to match the heather. I was careful to make sure you could easily see the wolf himself which was why I chose the Sentinel pose. |

Entry Details: 1. Added Diana Carnage @ 60% 2. Added Nightchill cracks @ 25% 3. Lowered Annwn Veneer to 35% 4. Lowered merged cross to 25% 5. Changed base to Moonlight 6. Added a background and a decor :) I also just did this for fun so no need to send any sc, thank you! :3 |

Update for the contest: with all the wonderful entries that's been received, I've made the decision to cut the finishing date back towards its original planned date. Rather than ending the 23rd, the submission entries will now close on April 10th, 15:00 Wolvden Time. Winners will be chosen towards the 15th, giving myself a couple days to look over designs and such. I will have my stud up as soon as I have the appropriate markings, opacities, and base to match the winning design! I will make an announcement on here (with a link provided) of his stud page as soon as he's up <3 Good luck to all entrants, and once again thank you for your wonderful designs! |

So, my lead yesterday was able to find a Blueschist. Given I'm pretty sure the chances of me being lucky enough to find a breed only base like this again are pretty slim, plus my love for cool based wolves, I'm making the decision of turning that wolf into my new stud. However, the already submitted entries will not go in vain! In fact, I plan to make my wolf that was going to be my stud into a pair bond with my new planned stud, in the hopes of producing some cool based storm-eyed kids. The winners of the contest will still be chosen soon, and rewarded the same -- except the refunded breedings will go towards the Blueschist stud. Now, I open up a new contest: design this wolf, who will be my actual stud! The rewards will be the same, with first place earning 10 GC and 3 refunded breedings and second place earning 2 GC and 1 refunded breeding. Each person that enters will gain 20 SC, much like the previous time. I deeply apologize for this sudden change of plans. Getting the new wolf was a huge surprise to me, and immediately after claiming I took the day to really weigh out my options on my already made plans for stud. With my love for cool bases, finding one kind of felt like it was meant to be. As much as I love the storm eyes of the previous planned stud, the rarer base of this new find appeals to me more than having a stud with a base app applied. This contest will instead close now, with winner(s) being chosen on the 10th rather than the previously announced 15th. Immediately after the winners are chosen for that, the new contest for designing the Blueschist will open up, with details on my preferences and such. Whether I'll be moving that to a new thread or not is undecided, but if it does go to a new thread, I will be linking it on this one in case anyone would also like to participate in that one.
