Deeply scarred features cast around the area as the male walked toward a gathering of wolves. He hesitated, his ears perking forward, his tail raised and unmoving as he squinted in their direction. The scars across his eyes had not caused him bother recently, but he couldn’t see as well as he once did. With a soft hum, he decided that these wolves did not appear to be lustful for blood, as some he’d met before.

Captain was exhausted, and he just wanted to find a safe spot where he could rest and recover a little of his strength. He’d been travelling for days now and had not eaten for a while. He tried to fix a kind look upon his face before he approached them, but each time he attempted to smile, his scars would contort, making his smile look much more like a grimace.

He faltered at a respectable distance from the group, his ears perking forward to catch their conversation. Captain had chosen not to try and hide and conceal himself, it may make him appear more of a threat to them, so he’d opted to travel out in the open.

Alpha Hinode of the Galatics pack trotted along an open field. Hinode was taking a tour around his territory borders as usual. There have been a lot of loners skulking around his land so he decided to start chasing some of them out.  His loyal beta Ashened accompanied him on this little wolf hunt. Hinode wasn't the best alpha, but he was a stunning, sunny colored wolf  with the intellect to keep him out of trouble.

Ashened on the other hand, she didn't care much about what happened to who. She would always rush into fights with insults and rude comments, or would just slap and kick those she hated. She wasn't very well respected due to her spoiled past, but she is tolerable when she's busy hunting.

Hinode and Ashened had already chased off three lone wolves within 4 hours of exploration, and they were both ready to chase off more if they had to. There was still pups in the territory, a young pup that still needed protection. It was key to chase off any rogues as who knows what they could do to an unguarded pup from a wolf pack. 

After some time, Ashened decided to take a break, trotting towards some shade while Hinode scanned the area for anything. His scouting only led him to find some hare burrows and stoats running about, so he decided to take a break as well. Hinode flopped down just a few feet away from Ashened, still looking out for any signs of rogues. His ears twisting like a hare on high alert. His eyes scanning around his line of vision, he wasn't gonna let anything get past him. A few sniffs in the air and Hinode only caught the whiff of faint scents from far away, nothing for him to worry about as it came from the forest lands. Still, his head didn't lower an inch for a few minutes, just to be safe.
