Gameplay?

Gameplay?

Hello,

I'm a new player to this site (though I've been playing lioden off and on for a few years). This feels like an odd question- but I'm wondering what aspects of this game members enjoy so far? I love wolves and would like to switch my main game from LD to WD as it better aligns with my interests & artistic preferences, but so far I'm finding the gameplay more tedious and repetitive than enjoyable. I of course  acknowledge the game is in its infancy and events and features will roll out at some point, which may drastically change my opinion. But in the meantime, I figured I'd ask more established members how they play and what activities they like to do on the site, to get a feel for how other members participate.

Disclaimer: It's absolutely not my intention to disrespect the game, it's managers, or the site itself, only trying to get a feel for the game.

I'm not sure myself. I think I just like the straightforward feel of progression, but that may be because of my own goals (get money, develop my wolves' skills, grow my den, etc).

I also just like breeding games in general and miss the time (2009 to 2013-ish) when there seemed to be a new breeding sim like twice a year. It's been a looong time since I've played LD though, and I feel like the reasons I like this game are similar to why I liked LD.

ayyyy I was wondering when I'd see some familiar faces here. (hi, it's mongoosefangs from dA!)

I never could get into Lioden, and I realize that WD shares a lot of the same mechanics, but I'm enjoying it so far despite not really having an end goal. It's always nice to get in relatively early on games like this.  I guess right now I'm just trying to build up my funds and make my wolves as strong and experienced as possible to prepare for whatever events may come later. There seems to be a pretty robust art market, so maybe I'll spend my SC on art?

im in a similar boat, in that i tend to prefer wolvden for a few reasons but obviously i think the issue is just that it's just came out and it doesn't have the advantages lioden has, such as events to participate in and look forward to, a more developed economy, more mutations, more features, etc.. so as of right now despite any repetitive bits im just trying to keep myself building up and grinding, so i'm ahead of the game in the future and can relax a bit more than i often did on lioden.

totally understand disinterest in that though. i suspect it'll improve as time goes on and more stuff can be added!
