Biography
Can fail to: Brown and Yellow
He stepped down from his role as lead scout for his adopted son to take his place. But the travelling never ended. He now roams far and wide, just looking for a reason to keep his paws moving.
After some time, new lead scout Patterns of the Wind stepped down, as he was ready to travel again. Phantom decided to take the role as scout again, until a younger pup found their way to be a scout
Phantom had lived with the pack his whole life. With his mom, dad, brothers and sisters, friends. The pack was his family. He decided from an early age that he never wanted pups. They were too noisy, and too energetic. He even became a scout specifically to get away from the noisy daily life of the pack. But everything changed when a special little pup wandered into camp. He was young, hungry, and bruised. Abandoned by his parents. Sage took him in without second thought. And although everyone treated him humanly, he never had a family. When he got older, he decided he wanted to become a scout. And of course, that meant he was lead scout phantoms job to care for. Phantom was not happy about it at first. The pup never shut up, scared off anything they came close to, and was always bouncing around. And they couldn't go far due to the pups short legs. They'd always return to camp with the energetic thing still full of that liveliness. One day, Phantom got fed up with the cycle, and just walked, and walked, and walked, all the way until they were at the tundra. Silkworm, the pup, keeping pace like it was nothing. But he was calmer now, quieter, more relaxed. Phantom and silkworm became very close, and with time they became like father and son. They ate together, worked together, and sometimes, grumpy old Phantom would even play with the pup! When Silkworm finally came of age to be a scout, Phantom stepped down from his role. But he couldn't stand being a pupsitter, and he wasn't cut out to be a hunter. So he decided to travel. To keep his paws moving, and bring news of other pack back to his own.
Phantom wondered into the mountainous territory of the Dark Fallen Pack on a dark, foggy day. He had struggled to find any food, and when he did, the prey easily climbed up the rocks to escaped his grasp. During one failed attempt, Irwin ran into him. Irwin immediately recognized Phantom, since he had visited Phantom's pack once before. After some catching up and chit chatting, Irwin brought Phantom to their pack leader, Fenrir. They gave Phantom some much needed food and a place to rest, and allowed him to stay for the duration of his trip.
After training a new scout, Diarmaid, he once again steped down from his role to allow the young one to follow his dreams of being a scout. This also allowed him to rest, and help raise his young daughters
