Biography
Kulta (Finnish for gold) is the oldest wolf and most experienced Scout in the pack. Younger wolves look up to her and tend to ask her for advice. She wishes to have cubs of her own before she gets too old.
The day after reaching the northernmost point thus far, Kulta realised she could not advance any further on her own. She could feel the cold wind through her fur and see the impassable terrain ahead of her. With a heavy heart she decided to abandon pushing further north and to focus on training up Sora, her apprentice, and on having some puppies of her own. In this she received surprising help from her friend Kajo, who had also separately decided to have her own litter. To better care for their future children together, they formed a platonic pairbond.
Before she could conceive however, she and Kajo adopted a lost young puppy with striking black-and-white markings. The male puppy was called Koivu. Kajo speculates that Koivu may be a child from another world, the same one from which the curious herbs and creatures of November have come from.
Once she gave birth to her litter, two of them were found to have curious blue markings. Kajo thought them to be signs: Kuura, the more dutiful one, became a healer apprentice. Perho, on the other hand, could not keep still long enough to even say "herb". Time will show what the future holds for him.
