Subtle Pine was not the most liked wolf in her home pack. She had skills, and wasn't afraid to let others know it. When the day came for her to leave, she strutted out of the territory with a smile on her lips.
Walking through a forest, she followed the scent of a young stranger wolf. The wolf caught her watching, but rather then chase her off, offered a place in the pack as a hunter. Pine agreed.
