A fiery wolf traveled far across the Deciduous Forest, looking for a particular wolf she was sent to find. She finally spotted a bright blue and gray wolf who did not blend in with the dark green plants. Rosebella Leopardskin was told by Estellla, Everforest's leader, that this would would be unmistakable. They were right. She approached this wolf, walking at a determined pace towards the leader of the Shrouded Pack. The light of the moon caught on Ice Runner's pack as she checked for any scents that might lead her to some useful herbs. Rosebella Leopardskin eventually caught up with Ice Runner and told the leader why she had come. "I was sent by my leader, Estellla." She informed Ice Runner "Our pack, Everforest, is running out of space in our home. 5 wolves were sent out to build a new pack or find a pack to join." She dipped her head towards Ice Runner "I have heard of your unquestioned acceptance of others and I wish you will do the same for me." Ice Runner nodded, she had heard of the troubles in other packs from wondering wolves in the forest. "You are welcome to stay. I hope when things are well again, you will be able to go back. We will not stop you." Ice Runner said in a comforting tone as she turned around and beckoned Rosebella Leopardskin to follow. Rosebella Leopardskin was led to a clearing deep in the Deciduous Forest that was well protected by the many trees. "Welcome to our pack." Ice Runner announced. Rosebella Leopardskin scanned the clearing with dens made of dirt, stone, and leaves around the edge. A cream pup and gray pup stopped their game of chase to run over to the new wolf and ask questions, not only to her, but also to Ice Runner. "Sneaking Lion, Ash Tree, remember what I said about giving new wolves space." Ice Runner said in a soft commanding tone. "Oh! Right!" They both exclaimed and took a few paw steps back, though it was barely enough space for Rosebella to walk. "This is our very energetic welcoming team." Ice Runner said with a smile as she looked down at the two pups "Here, let me take you to a den." Ice Runner led her to a hole covered by a canopy of leaves and branches. "You can rest here. You must have traveled far." Ice Runner said one last time before returning to the center of the clearing. "Zara?" She could hear Ice Runner talking in the clearing "Please gather some prey and take it to Everforest. Let them know Rosebella Leopardskin is safe."
She had died. She knew it would be her time and she was ready. She had lived a good life, even if she did have to change packs. Bother her packs respected her and helped her and took care of her. She could not have asked for anymore from them. As she hears the howls of the Shrouded Pack in the distance, she travels onward towards the ___, back to Everforest.
