Biography
Chiaroscuro was named for his contrasting white and dark coat. Born to Guinevere, daughter of former leader Greta and sister of leader Douglas, Chiaroscuro was one of several puppies being considered to take Douglas's place. With the blood of the founding pair coursing through his veins, Chiaroscuro was trained with his sisters and cousins to take the role of leader.
Towards the end of his training, Douglas selected Chi as his heir, as he was showing promise in his strength and natural leadership abilities. Chi then trained as a hunter and spent two years as a scout, to further his skills and gain an understanding of their territory, the plants and animals they shared it with, and the different roles within the pack.
Shortly after his second birthday, during the monthly Lunar event, Douglas passed away, leaving the pack to Chiaroscuro. His first duty as a leader was to become acquainted with the mysterious Dreamworld, learn lessons, and gain power from the spirit guides in the realm. The Dreamworld fills Chi with awe and wonder with the supernatural world.
