Puppy Lesson Log
05/25/23 - Pathfinding: Pebble used a few distracting scents to tempt Cinder as they practiced. A successful scout needs to have a will strong enough to stay on the right track no matter what, even if they are hungry.
05/26/23 - Hiding: Snow taught the class about wind direction and scents that can reveal your position if the threat is downwind. Turns out Cinder is the best at hiding if she just rolls in the dirt first!
05/27/23 - Working Together: Cinder listened carefully to Pebble's lecture about how biting and tussling aren't allowed during teamwork. That was a bit disappointing, but Cinder was ready for the hard work.
05/29/23 - Prey Tracking: Cinder was sure that she was the best sniffer there was! No one was able to do it better... But it started to rain, and the scent became much weaker and left her circling in confusion.
05/30/23 - Effective Killing: Guinevere dissected the prey gently in front of the class to show where the veins and spine are. Anatomy lessons can pay off when trying to deal fatal blows, and Cinder listened eagerly. Socialization Log:
