Frequent infighting led to his defection from the Strike hunting party. That's what he would say, anyway - the others would say it was more of an excommunication. He quickly shifted to scouting under the guidance of the much more amiable Golden Ticket.
Over time he became just as adept as his teacher. He slowly built strength scouting the Riparian Woodland in order to successfully unearth the Rainforest, the first wolf in the pack to do so. Upon fully exploring the biome, he retired to pupsitting duty and reunited with Golden Ticket. Nashua felt utmost happiness fulfilling his new role and enjoyed many sunny days playing with the pups.
He feels closest to Seltzer, who for a time was his only hunting partner after Lucky Strike took over as alpha. He doesn't seem to realize just how much he irritates her.
Though he is the oldest of the hunters, he is not necessarily the most focused. The younger, more serious Velvet Crush often pressures him into keeping his head in the game.
