Biography
Fallen Oak's birth pack always said her name didn't suit her, because her head was always in the clouds. The more polite packmates said the sky reflected in her eyes, and that's why her mind was never in the here and now. To tell the truth, she wasn't chased off when she was of age, she wandered off one summer night and got lost. She didn't spend much time looking for them, however. Something in the stars drew her forth.
It took some time, but she found Rushing River in the great forest. The two hit it off immediately, for River only encouraged Fallen Oak's daydreams. She followed the gray wolf back to the Children of the North, a pack that was just establishing itself.
She snuck after Brave Elk one night to join him in hunting. He was keen to have an extra set of teeth and legs.
Rushing River encouraged finding mates from outside the pack in order to keep the family lines strong, so when Oak felt the time was right to raise a litter, she spent a few days wondering the edges of the territory. A few months later, she gave birth to four pups: Still Hare, Quaking Aspen, Tired Trout, and Sleeping Salmon.
