Born on a late winter night to the alpha female of one of the many packs of a strange and harsh land that has yet to be named. Artemis was the runt and only girl out of a litter of 3 other pups, who would call their secluded fallen tree den their home for the first month of life, and for most of the winters that followed.

This would be the only litter of that season. As a pup, Artemis was quiet and reserved. She spent most of her time watching her siblings play and exploring the world around her. Her mother, the alpha of their pack, saw something special in Artemis and knew she would one day lead their pack.

As Artemis grew older, she became more and more silent. She rarely spoke and kept to herself most of the time. Her siblings grew to resent her, seeing her as cold and distant. But Artemis didn't mind. She knew she was destined for greatness and was willing to do whatever it took to achieve it. When Artemis was a year old, her mother was killed by a rival pack.

Artemis was devastated, but she knew that she had to step up and take over as the pack leader. She led her pack with a firm paw, always putting the needs of her pack before her own, eventually promoting her brother to alpha and moving off to newer lands. She was respected and feared by all who knew her.

One day, while out hunting, Artemis met Ino, a gorgeous and caring she-wolf from a pack that lived in these odd lands. They fell in love soon after and soon became mates. Artemis was surprised by how much she cared for Ino, but she knew that she had found her soulmate. They ruled the pack together, with Artemis as the leader and Ino as the queen.

Artemis was fiercely loyal to Ino and would do anything to protect her. They had a few pups together and raised them with love and kindness. Artemis was still quiet and stoic, but Ino brought out a softer side of her. She would often be seen nuzzling Ino and playing with their pups.
