Owl

Owl is a name she gave herself rather than the name she was given at birth, and it's not hard for those she meets to assume as much since names given to one by one's family are generally blessings they wish to impart, lessons they wish to teach, or references to notable events from around the new pup's birth. Owl's name really is just "I really really like owls. Just, like, really like them a lot."

Sort of an odd bird, Owl occupies a unique social space. She joined midway through the Persistent's journey to their territory in the grasslands, and is both new enough that she isn't considered a core member and old enough that she isn't treated as a new member. Her quiet, even temperament contributes as well. She is generally agreeable and will do her work, but must be told things and won't ever assume.
