Biography
• • • Freya, Daughter of the Moon
The eldest daughter of Northgard's seasoned hunter, Ragnar, and his mate, Siriana. Her puphood was no different than what one would expect from a pup, preferring to chase balls of moss with her littermates and pestering elders for more and more tales. As she grew older however, she began to spend more and more time with the pack's leader, Arne, whose muzzle had been graying with age. Freya quickly began to respect the wolf for what he had done for the pack; and for the crucial and gut-wrenching decisions he had to make.
Freya spent most of her time honing her skills and gaining wisdom wherever she could. She oftentimes joined one of the scouts, namely Laeroth, on his missions to gain insight about the landscapes surrounding Northgardian Pack's territory.
As the sun was setting on Arne's time as leader, Ragnar proposed that Freya could take over the position, for he knew no one more suitable than her. Arne happily agreed.
Freya became the new leader at exactly one year of age, determined to live up to her pack's expectations and keep everyone safe in times of great changes. Although she had been trying her utter best, Freya oftentimes found it difficult to find firm footing under her paws. Thankfully, she found comfort in her parents who were there to support her every pawstep of the way, but also in one of the hunters: one by the name of Santiago.
Over Freya's first seasons of leadership, the two of them bonded over shared interests and love for deep forests and the moon and the stars. Eventually, they declared their feelings for one other when Santiago came back injured from a hunting trip, finally becoming mates once he recovered.
• • • Trivia

During the lesson: Freya sniffed the ground, recognizing the scent of the toy immediately. Tracking it was almost too easy, but Sten placed a few distracting surprises that she had to overcome. — Prey Tracking Lesson, at 3½ months of age
During the lesson: In the lesson today, Serk and Freya learned how strategy can be useful when hunting in a group and trying to chase a big prey animal like Arne pretended to be. With group coordination and a perfectly timed call, Freya was able to tackle the pretend-elk to the ground. — Working Together Lesson, at 4 months of age
