In his later years Chulyen clashed with promising new finisher Massasauga. He felt he'd been forgotten in the mix and resented the younger male's instant popularity. He goaded him into a test of strength. Despite drawing first blood Massasauga won the match without putting a scratch on his opponent. Humbled, Chulyen backed away from his vulgar boasts and taunts to become one of the most reliable older hunters.
