Biography
Born of the pack founder and his mate, Faer grew up cherished by the wolves of the Winterset Pack. He spent his youth training to become a chaser like his mother, but deep down his heart longed for a different purpose. He would always consider the snow capped peaks and warm cliffside dens to be his home, but he could not bring himself to stay in one place any longer. When he finally reached adulthood, he set off from the pack, only the cool breeze of the mountains and crunch of snow to accompany him.

Story: Faer found himself in a large deciduous forest. The lush trees teemed with life and flowers grew up all on the ground. It was a refreshing sight as Faer had been traveling for quite a while. He stopped to sniff a few of the flowers before him and then jolted upright, ears erect. He knew he heard someone nearby. Looking around, he locked eyes with a bright green she-wolf. She seemed to almost glow with some kind ethereal light.
"Are you new to these woods?" She asked gently, approaching with caution.
Faer nodded and gave an inviting wag of his tail. "Yes, I'm traveling. I've been looking to take a rest somewhere nearby. You wouldn't happen to know of a good place to stay would you?" He asked in return.
"You'd be welcome at the Starshade Pack. I can take you there," The she-wolf offered.
"You don't need to go out of your way. Where is it?" Faer replied, looking around at the trees in case he might be able to see it.
"Oh it's no trouble at all, I was going back there myself. Starshade is my home pack. I'm Seabreeze," the she-wolf introduced.
"Oh, in that case, thank you! I'm Faer," Faer introduced.
"Pleasure to meet you," Seabreeze added, beginning to walk deeper into the trees. Faer looked up and noticed orange waves streaking across the sky as the sun was beginning to set. Seabreeze looked up and seemed to notice the same thing.
"Would you like to see something cool?" She asked with bright eyes. Without even giving Faer a chance to reply, she began running off into the trees. Faer followed as quickly as he could, watching the sky rapidly darken and the forest grow dim and almost gloomy. The only thing keeping him from getting lost was the gentle glow from Seabreeze's coat. Seabreeze stopped suddenly and Faer, stopped too, confused. And then he saw soft blue light floating within the trees. It seemed to almost dance and left him speechless. Then there were more little lights and before he knew it he was surrounded by blue glowing butterflies, each with their own unique patterns and shapes. One of them alighted on Faer's nose and he watched its wings open and close slowly. Before he felt the need to sneeze.
Seabreeze chuckled lightly. "Beautiful, aren't they? I can always find them at this time of night. I believe it's because my pelt has stardust in it. Keep this memory with you and when you see a butterfly, think of me, okay?"
She gave a soft smile and motioned with her nose to follow her. Faer followed in awestruck silence, enjoying the quiet of the forest that enveloped the two.
His stay at the Starshade Pack was very pleasant. All the wolves were nice and he got to try his paw at pupsitting. He enjoyed exchanging stories with the other travelers at the pack and left feeling determined to continue exploring across the world.

Story: Faer continued his journey, traveling now through a very interesting landscape very unlike his home. There were no trees, only low growing bushes that offered little in the way of cover or shade and the air was dry, dust billowing with each pawstep. A few bushes here and there would smell of the sweetest rain, tiny yellow flowers dotted the small leaves and Faer wondered at the strange plant. This place is so dry yet smells of rain…I've herd other travelers talk about this country, I think it was called a Prairie… Small blue wings flutter past and landed on a small clump of some the flowers Faer had been staring at. The sight of it reminded him of Seabreeze, the female from the Starshade pack, and his time there. Lost in memory Faer failed to notice a young pup stalking up to him until with a sudden explosion he was knocked off his paws.
"秋光 Akimitsu no! I'm so sorry, it's her first day training. Are you hurt?" Standing up and shaking out his pelt Faer replys
"No no, I'm fine. She'll be a strong one for sure." Smiling down at the young pup. Puffing out her little chest the young pup squeaks,
"I got you good, huh!"
"秋光 Akimitsu! Apologize" the older wolf suddenly barks, "Sorry I didn't introduce ourselfs did I? I'm 極光 Kyokkō and I'm this little furballs mother." Her words sound harsh but Faer can see a glint of mischief in the mothers eyes. "I'm surprised that you could see those butterflies actually, not many wolves can."
"Oh? So you can see them too?" Faer asks in surprise.
"See what?! See what?!" Yipps the young pup, dashing over to a small fallen branch, mushrooms and lichen coating the surface. Strange. I wouldn't have thought there would be enough moisture or shade… but as Faer follows the young pup he can see that the mushrooms glow with the same eerie light as the butterflies. She begans sniffing and rooting around but quickly becomes bored and soon runs off chasing a lizard.
"She's my pup so she can sense something's here but she can't see it as we do." 極光 Kyokkō explains, sitting next to him and then continuing, "You must be hungry if not thirsty. Please come back with us and I'll introduce you to my leader. She loves hearing about the journeys of travelers." Faer agrees and they soon head off. Staying only for a few days Faer tells of his travels, hearing some from some others also staying with the pack, and soon moves on.

Story:Faer came into Gray River Pack territory by accident. You see, he was following a long winding creek until he found himself surrounded by trees and then.. wolves! The pack immediately took interest in him and everyone wanted to get a chance to speak with him.
His stay turned out to be quiet excellent. Faer was showered with gifts and tales of Gray River Pack, which he swapped for his own stories, including one in particular of the beautiful wolf Sea breeze. Vera I, gifted him a beautiful lunar pendant as a reminder of his stay and as a token of good luck. Then he was off on his next adventure....

Story: Faer was feeling pleasant after his last pack. He was still excited as he trotted into the Shadow Slayers. Suddenly and wolf lunged at him, though small this brown and black female had tons of scars and fresh scratches. She started attacking him as he tried to defend himself. He wasn't the best at defending himself and this wolf has clearly won tons of battles. More and more she scratched him when two dragons appeared in front of her. The wolf screamed and tried scratching and biting the dragons but they didn't even flinch. The red and black dragons kept pushing her back, away from Faer. Two more wolves ran up to him and helped in up. Though still in shock, he managed to get a few questions out, "Who are you? what's going on? what just happened?!" The red female looked down at him, "I'm Bloodmoon. And that's NightHawk." She gestured to the blue wolf also aiding him. "And that's our leader, Lifestealer." Bloodmoon continued. NightHawk started, "She hates travelers for reasons we can't explain to you right now. But you have to get out. Red and Whisper can't hold her forever." Bloodmoon turned to the dragons and spoke something in a language Faer couldn't understand. The red dragon nodded and let go on Lifestealer. The black dragon fallowed and Lifestealer ran at them full force. Bloodmoon jumped up and caught her. a few other wolves started to hold her back as well. NightHawk grabbed Faer and started running, 'Come on! You have to go!" They both started running. Faer didn't know how long they were running for but it was a long time. He turned back to say something to NightHawk, but he was gone. Faer didn't think much about it and fell asleep.

Story: Upon waking up, Faer found himself in the swamp. He was barely awake when a scaley green shape jumped out of the nearby brown water. An alligator! Faer yelped in fear and skittered to his paws, trying to get a foothold on the marshy ground. the alligator snapped at his hind legs, narrowly missing. Luckily a dark, slightly blue wolf leaped out of the nearby foliage and attacked the alligator.
Eventually, the alligator was dead and the powerful she-wolf helped Faer to his paws. She was bleeding from a few injuries, but she seemed mostly unfazed.
"are you hurt?" She asked.
"me!? what about you?!" He barked.
"I've had worse... I'm Nayeli, leader of Dhuara Pack." Faer believed her, after all, she had multiple nasty scars on her face. He followed her into the rainforest, and to dhuara pack's den.
Faer met the pupsitters of Dhaura pack and enjoyed their and the pup's company. Eventually he decided it was simply too hot in the rainforest for him, even in autumn. He missed the crunch of snow under his paws. So he set off north.
User/Pack: Elli #112843 | Northgardian Pack
Arrival-Departure Dates: 11th of August, 2023 | tba
Story: Faer arrived to the Northgardian Pack when the trees surrounding him turned bare and the ground began to send shivers through his paws. Winter was on its way, sinking its sharp teeth into every living plant and creature. Hunting became harder, as most critters had already fled to their burrows and nests. Thankfully, aid came in the form of resilient, hardy wolves that took the lack of prey as a mere nuisance and the upcoming season as a challenge. When Faer arrived to their territory, asking for shelter, the leader, an elegant she-wolf by the name of Freya, complied quickly, guiding the wolf to a cave where other travelers used to spend time. For the time being, Faer was the only traveler in the den, only with a couple of Northgardians to keep him company.
When winter finally, struck, he observed as the pack swiftly adapted to the new situation, changing their hunting strategies and parties to adapt. Curious, Faer was quick to approach one of the wolves, a fluffy silver male, and ask about the pack's hunting tactics. The wolf let out a huff, followed with a nonchalant twitch of his tufted ears.
"How would I know? Herbs can't move!" he snapped sarcastically, rolling his eyes.
Only then did Faer notice the overpowering smell of plants wafting from the wolf's fur, putting two and two together that he was the pack's herbalist. Fortunately, the healer's annoyance disappeared in a heartbeat and he told the traveler what little he knew about hunting. He even sprinkled in some tips about herbs that can be commonly found in the wild, in case Faer ever hurt himself on his travels.
Faer stayed with the Northgardian Pack until the snow began to melt, showing promise of spring. He spent the rest of his days there exchanging tales of hunting with the pack-wolves, and sometimes paying the herbalist a visit to query about an herb he had found earlier.
Decor Added: Blue Mist
User/Pack: Lucky/Starshade Pack
Arrival-Departure Dates: 8/18/2023 - 8/26/2023
Story: While most wolves welcomed springtime, to Faer it was disappointing to see all the snow melting away. His newfound skill in searching for herbs, even in winter, had aided him well in curing any injuries he had acquired hunting for larger prey and fending off large animals like bears. Now looking for herbs wasn't even a challenge as without the snow, they were all exposed right for him to see. The Northgard had taught him well and he wished he had more of a challenge. Even finding prey was getting boring.
He stopped to observe a patch of arnica in the waning sunlight, the snow had melted in a perfect ring around the little plant. It was such a pleasant sight and the smell was calming. A blue butterfly hovered over the plant, taking some of the flower's nectar before moving on into the trees. Faer smiled wide and let his tail wag, remembering both Seabreeze and 秋光 Akimitsu and 極光 Kyokkō. Something urged him to chase the butterfly and he followed it into the trees, happily giving chase to the small insect.
The call of a bird caught his attention and he recognized a lunar finch up on a branch above him. That's when he realized he knew the woods within which he found himself. The first stop on his traveling journey, the Starshade Pack.
With renewed determination, Faer ran through the trees to the densest part of the woods where he knew the Starshade wolves made their home. Roots growing so close together had woven large hollows under the trees, each one carefully carved out by the wolves to make cozy dens for its residents.
A bark behind Faer startled him and before he knew it he had been tackled to the ground, being covered in licks. "Faer you're back, I missed you!" The she-wolf cheered, her tail flying back and forth with glee. Her glowing coat was unmistakable and the genuine delight in her eyes made Faer so happy.
"Seabreeze! It's been so long, hi! I knew I'd found Starshade territory as soon as I smelled the trees!" Faer replied, giving her friendly licks in return.
"I have so much to show you," Seabreeze said, smiling. "Like my daughter Yoshirou 義郎."
A she-wolf whose coat glowed just like her mom's walked forward shyly. Yellow spots lined her pelt and her underfur was a bright pink. "Mum told me about you, hi," Yoshirou 義郎 said softly, her tail swishing behind her.
"The stars have blessed another generation. Glad to meet you," Faer greeted. "I have so much to tell you both."
Faer spent his time watching over the Starshade pups with Seabreeze and Yoshirou 義郎, telling stories and exchanging tales with the other travelers staying within the pack. Seeing his old friends again recharged him for the next adventure that laid ahead.

Story: Beyond the mist
After traveling from from the previous pack a rather slim female came through this fog like aroma, her coat was white which resembled the cold area around faer, but her presence was strong- was she the alpha? Before faer even got a word out the Female introduced herself. Hey there! It seems you've made your way here? Why not stay a while.. My name is selestial , you may find my pack pretty alert but they all have their own stories so don't mind it.. Ah right! How rude of me- what's your name? Uhm well.. My name is faer, mind showing me the way? - with that selestial darted off to her pack , faer hardly keeping up but managed to make it there. It was beautiful.. So many flowers and different wolves How could this place exist among the fog? Faer looked at selestial I'm which her expression was worry-some. What's wrong selestial? - oh nothing .. I'm just having trouble watching the pups would you mind helping out? - faer agreed to watch them on their stay there making countless memories with other wolves and to remember the place a small necklace was crafted for them!

Story: Faer found himself in a familiar deciduous forest. The smells and sights had been ingrained in his mind and he ran through the trees, leaves crunching under his paws as he made his way to the den of the Starshade Pack. He had visited so many times, he was tempted to call the place his second home.
He was greeted by Yoshirou 義郎 at the pack den, her tail wagging in delight when she saw him.
"You wouldn't guess what happened! The stars that blessed my mum allowed more star-touched wolves into the pack!" Yoshirou 義郎 woofed softly. "Seabreeze has moved on from this pack and rejoined the stars, but I'm glad I was here to greet you on your return. You look well."
Faer smiled wide and nodded. "You have more wolves with your bright coat?"
Yoshirou 義郎 introduced Faer to her daughter, Guenièvre and her granddaughter Takeshi 武 .
"Isn't it wonderful? Mum's spirit lives on through me and my wonderful daughter and her pup. I'm so glad you got to come by and meet them," Yoshirou 義郎 said with delight. Her eyes lit up and she ran off and returned with a large oak branch in her jaws. The leaves were still fresh and green on it. "Here, take this as a token of appreciation from the Starshade Pack. Consider it good luck. As long as you have it with you, remember Seabreeze and I, okay? And my little ones too!"
Faer nodded and his tail wagged. "Of course, happily. Thank you Yoshirou 義郎. I'm so happy I got to see you again too!"

He was old and tired. It was time to go back home. Matthew gave him a bone filled with energy for the journey back and to remember his rest here.
And so, after a rest, off Faer went, back home. To his final destination.
