The pale wolf sighed as he followed along the prints of his fellow packmates, growing tired of always being the one left at the rear as they continued to move on in search of another den. His current Alpha was a bit of a worrier and was insistent on changing locations at every threatening sign that came to be. The distance between him and the wolves before him grew as he slowed to a stop, his eyes looking down at the path with something close to disgust. I deserve better than this dammit. Matthias thought with a scowl as he veered off the trail into the nearby wood, having made up his mind to find somewhere his talents would be better appreciated.
It didn't take him too long to pick up the scent of a female wolf and he followed it carefully until he reached the source. He came to the edge of the wood he had been tracking her through and noticed the figure chasing after an Elk Cow. There was still a bit of distance between him and the autumn she-wolf but he could clearly see she was attempting a hunt that seemed to be a little out of her league. A smirk moved onto his muzzle as the adult female tired herself out chasing down the prey and his jaws opened to let out a laugh, the sound caught her attention almost instantly. "Ha! I hope you don't call that hunting!" The male taunted in between his laughs as he shook his head slightly. Once Matthias finally calmed himself down, he noticed the stranger heading away from him and jumped to his feet to follow her at a quick pace. His eyes caught a glimpse of her disappearing into a nearby thicket and he quickly followed only to find himself greeted by large snapping jaws, the sight sending him to a sudden stop.
Matthias yelped in surprise and lowered at the sight of the larger dark wolf. "Who the hell do you think you are?!" The Alpha of the small pack snarled fiercely at the pale wolf. "Whoa..heh sorry I didn't realize she was uh..with a pack. My name's Matthias" He spoke with a small smirk as he took a careful step back from the aggressor. His eyes shifted to see two other figures, one being the female and the other, another male. "It looks like you could use another hunter, I don't mean to brag but hunting is kinda my thin-" Isaak was quick to snap his jaws once again as if to silence the male mid-sentence. "You talk too damn much." The large Alpha growled, knowing all too well they could use another hunter since Heidi obviously couldn't catch anything alone. Perhaps it was Sascha's persuading words or the growing hunger that helped Matthias find a home within this new pack, either way, he was eager to prove himself to Isaak as a worthy pack member and hunter. Thankfully, his talents pulled through and Matthias was able to become an essential member of Die Unbekannte's hunting party.
