Biography:

Originally born in a zoo, Dawnsky would be released as part of re-introduction program for wolves into the wild.

Adjusting to the wilderness was something of a struggle, especially in the mountains. However, it wasn't long before she encountered Dusk Watcher, and eventually was accepted into the newly formed pack.

However, as she settled in as a member of the pack's original hunting party, she did notice problems in the new band of wolves. These were problems that only grew more noticeable during the winter, and by the next spring, several wolves departed.

This included many members of the original hunting team, leaving the Dusk Mountain Pack in a scramble to find new hunters and a replacement herbalist. Dawnsky took up the mantle of scout to improve her game and help the pack find new territory.

In doing so, she also helped recruit new hunters. The new hunting team, as far as she can tell, seems to be doing well so far, and the problems that the original group have do not seem to be an issue.

That does not mean however, that nothing is lurking under the surface appearance of calm.

A New Relationship:

Although Dusk Watcher and Dawnsky eventually became friends within the pack, the two did not become paired up until far later. The first litter they had produced a sole surviving pup, who was eventually given to another pack, largely thanks to that difficult winter.

The two officially became a bonded pair during the next year, and in the fall, the two would go on to have three more pups, who have not yet received names.  For now, they remain closely protected by the pack's newest pup-sitter, Brindlefang.
