Racoon loved being a pupsitter, it wasn't a surprise that he was more than happy to take on the role of mentor. He loves caring for others and pups are just so entertaining to watch grow and learn about the world, and now he gets to help teach them about the world.

Racoon and Dingo are two sides of the same coin, kind and sociable. It isn't surprising these two became fast friends after meeting.


History

Racoon had been travelling for as long as he could remember. His parents were travelers, only stopping when Racoon was young, just until he got old enough to travel. He had enjoyed traveling with his family, it had been nice. But… They had been attacked by poachers… and then suddenly he was on his own.

Racoon learnt very quickly that he didn't like being alone. He found his days too quiet, nights too cold. When he met Elk, the kind leader of an even kinder pack, Racoon wondered if there was a home waiting for him there. Elk had been more than happy for him to join her pack, and Racoon became an official member of The Pack of Souring Summit. He chose the role of pupsitter, he liked the idea of caring for and protecting pups and felt he would be good at it.

Racoon had taken a liking for Aurora from the moment he joined the pack. She was so kind and so beautiful, he often found himself staring. He found he spent a lot of time with Aurora, the wolf keeping him company in between her hunting trips. One day, Racoon realized he wanted to spend the rest of his life with her, asking Aurora to be his mate. Aurora tearfully accepted the confession.

Eventually, Racoon and Aurora decided to have a litter of their own, being blessed with one girl and three boys. Racoon loves his pups dearly, they were so adorable and he couldn't wait to watch them grow.

All of Racoon's pups are fully grown now and are respected members of the pack. Australis, Callisto and Moldative chose the role of pupsitters, while Maffei became a tracker. Racoon is glad his pups are pupsitters like him, as it allows him to spend more time with them.

Losing a mate is hard, Racoon knew that it would be. He had time to prepare, he always knew that Aurora would die before him after all. That didn't make it any easier, however. He spent a lot of time with his pups, doing his best to comfort them while grieving himself.

When Finch passed, Racoon was more than happy to take on the role of mentor. He loved working with pups, and now he had the rewarding job of teaching them about the world and important life skills.

On the 7th year and 6th month of his life, Racoon made his way to the mountains summit. Caribou keeping him company through most of the journey. Once at the top, looking out at the endless sky, Racoon was greeted by his mate Aurora, who gently guided him to the afterlife.
