Rannagon

The Virtas' first herbalist, and the oldest in Earth-age. Although Hëlindris is the eldest spirit, spirit-age is not always correlated with earth-age.

Rannagon was wise and kind, with great skill in plants and minerals. Though he liked to work alone, or with the silver-dusted bear whom he visited often, the old wolf was also fond of the younger spirits. He took great pleasure in teaching them a little of healing lore.

When Rannagon passed away back into the Heavens in the summer of the Virtas' third year on Earth (3EY), a young spirit named Orphenion, whom had been the old herbalist's apprentice, reluctantly took up his mantle. He hopes to be as good and kind a healer as old Rannagon.
