Lore: trotting along the forest the soft snow felt wet beneath her paws. Salena could smell the faint traces of wolves and had been tracking the scent for a few days. Every time she would think she had finally caught up, the scent would be gone and only the smell of herbs would be left. Letting out a whimper she goes back to a small fox den she had claimed as her own. Inside were four small little bodies snuggled up together for warmth. She needed to find a pack, she was a traveler wolf she couldn't travel with pups she had known she was pregnant, but the thought of her new travels had made her to overconfident in her own abilities and she had set out. Laying down beside them she mumbled to herself "I thought I would be able to find another pack by now and it's in the dead of winter too just my luck." Tuckered out and hungry Selena fell asleep beside her nursing pups.
Awakening to the smell of intruders Selena woke up growling ready to defend the small lives nestled beside her. Looking around she spots a red wolf his head bowed his mouth moving trying to communicate with her but due to her deafness was no use and a small dark colored pup on the cusp of adolescents. Relaxing at the sight of the pup Selena shakes her head and flicks her ears back and forth hoping the red wolf would come to understand what she meant. A few moments of the standoff and understanding floods the red wolf's eyes glancing back and forth the red wolf nuzzles the you pup besides and him gestures towards her own nursing pups, flicking his head towards the exit. Coming to a decision she picked up one of her pups and proceeded to walk to the opening and coming out to the bright sun and white covered ground. Glancing behind her she sees the red wolf with one of her pups in his mouth, smelling a new smell she sees two other wolves she assumes are from this new pack go inside for her other two pups. Feeling relief for the first time in the past two weeks she feels her muscles loosen and follows the red wolf and his pack to their den.
After a few moon cycles Selena looks at her pups playing with the first daughter's litter and knew she had made the right decision. Her pups would have a home here in Aeternum pack and so with that thought she left in the dead of night fearing the heartbreak of seeing her pups expressions of her leaving would make her stay.

Lore: It had been a few moons since Selena had left her pups in the care of the Aeternum Pack and though there were days when she missed them, she knew they would be well cared for by the kind wolves who could dedicate their attention to them. Selena always knew that her heart longed for adventure and staying in one place too long was not something she could stand easily.
It was a lovely and cool spring night as she found herself in a large deciduous forest. The smells wafting around her told her that there was an abundance of prey around for the season. And many mingled scents of wolves too. Selena walked ahead, planning to find a spot to rest for the night in a sheltered patch of trees. But as she kept walking, something eerie and almost cold gave her chills. She knew she wouldn't hear their approach, so Selena spun around, crouched low and prepared to run at a moment's notice.
Coming from around the back of the tree where Selena stood was the most unusual sight she had ever witnessed. A wolf with fur that looked to be colored like the blue of the night sky approached and tilted their head to the side to observe Selena. Their fur glowed at the edges, a luminescent blue, and their tail, if she could even call it that, looked to be long and flat with bright glowing tendrils hanging from the ends. Their eyes glowed a bright blue, obscuring their pupils, and their fur seemed to ripple as they walked, like waves. The wolf's mouth moved, but Selena couldn't hear any words. She shook her head and lifted and lowered her ears in an attempt to convey she couldn't hear them.
It took a moment, but understanding soon filled this unusual wolf's expression. They nodded and dashed off. A moment later they returned with a stick. Using the stick, Selena read the words the wolf wrote.
My name is Faë
Faë offered the stick to Selena and Selena, understanding, wrote My name is Selena
She returned the stick to Faë and watched with interest as Faë was about to write something, when Faë's ears shot forward and they turned around. Selena did the same and saw a very pregnant female with swirling red and blue fur approach. The blue and green colors of this wolf's coat seemed to glow bright like Faë's fur, however this wolf had a typical wolf tail and appearance. Faë and this new wolf exchanged a few words and then the new wolf bowed her head to Selena. Faë had given her the stick and she wrote out My name is Ludivine. If you are traveling, follow me, we have a place for you to stay
Selena nodded in understanding and wagged her tail slowly, walking toward the wolf named Ludivine. She returned Selena's tail wag and began to walk off through the trees, looking over her shoulder to check if Selena was following. Selena stayed behind Ludivine and saw even more fantastic sights as she approached a cluster of trees so thick, no light from the stars could get through. She began to wonder whether stellar creatures liked the darkness of this place, but when she was given a den and began to settle in, once she drifted off, she wondered whether the experience had all just been a dream.

Lore: Selena wandered into the SilentCrest Territory, seeing nothing out of the ordinary.. other than a pitch black wolf who was patrolling the area. Upon noticing her, he padded over and began to speak, but the traveler couldn't make out what he was saying, only that his mouth was moving. Selena moved her ears and shook her head to signal she's deaf, as the male nodded and brought in a piebald... Werewolf? The pie listened to the leader's words, and her hands began to move in weird motions.. that oddly, seems to resemble the sign language she knew from back home. Selena signed with her tail and front paws at first, but found it difficult, so she wrote on the ground with a stick.

"I am Selena. I am traveling around, and I've decided to settle here for a bit."

"You are welcome to stay here for as long as you need." The pie wrote back, leading Selena to the clearing. During the stay, Selena had a litter of pups, and entrusted Pythia, the pie, to take care of her daughter.
