Lady Irae Empyrean

Irae is a newcomer to the pack, taken in as a pup by the court physician, Lord Florian Empyrean. He found her while out foraging, lost and confused, saying her pack was running from something and she fell behind. He was never able to get more out of her than that. Florian and his mate, Nebulosa, decide to take Irae in as their own.
Since her adoptive parents never had pups of their own bloodline, Irae (with special permission from the monarch) will take on the Empyrean family name, and the job as court physician upon his death.
Just as he was beginning to train her, he passed of a mysterious illness. She frantically tried to learn as much as she needed to know to become a proper physician, and officially became the head of House Empyrean.
This mysterious illness spread; thanks to the knowledge of the immortals, Irae was able to keep it under control within the pack. However, those on the outskirts of their border are struggling; Irae knows she must keep it contained, whatever the cost.
