Ahnah the Wise

As always, Ahnah seems perfectly balanced. They hardly ever show strong emotions, which is calming in a way. Whenever you're overwhelmed, their presence brings a new perspective.

You find Ahnah while he's mixing herbs. You lay next to him, feeling his body heat while he continues his duties in a comfortable silence.

Puppyhood Memories:
During the lesson: Ahnah learned that specific plant parts do different things, and how only taking certain bits that the pack needs for remedies won't damage the entire plant. This will conserve resources and allow the plant to be used in the future.

Ahnah was taught to be a strong, independent wolf from a very young age. Not too long after he was weaned, he was lost from his pack after falling into a river and getting rushed away. He made his way along the river back to the place where the pack resides, only to find them gone and their scent days old. This didn't bother him as much as it would to most pups, but he didn't mind. He could survive on his own for a little amount of time before finding somewhere else to stay.
After living on his own a bit, he found himself in the Stag Creek territory. He was found by Caedis during a scout and taken in. Shaya became his pupsitter. Shortly after being brought in, she noticed there was something different about Ahnah. He wasn't like many of the other pups his age. Ahnah was less social, preferring to play alone and getting agitated whenever there were loud noises or larger crowds. His packmates quickly learned this and adjusted to it accordingly, but there was one more thing about him. Ahnah couldn't feel pain.
Shaya had her suspicions, but she was proven right once she had a talk with him after witnessing him sprain his foot while on a walk and instead of stopping, he kept going. Due to this, he was taught how to prevent injuries, which led to his love of herbalism. Every spare time he got, he went down to Nihil, the pack's herbalist, and watched her as she foraged, mixed medicines, and helped other wolves. Nihil quickly made Ahnah her apprentice.

Ahnah Prefers to stay in cooler temperatures, no matter the season. The sun often bears both too much light (which they may be sensitive to) and also brings about harsh heat, especially in summer. (#76084)
