Insa was born into an unusual pack. Actually, it was a flock, not a pack. Those wolves lived in isolation and preferred to keep to themselves. Unlike the rest them, Insa was always a curious child. Her mother, the Matriarch, had the mysterious gift of turning into a bird, unfortunately she did not inherit this power. She had always felt a bit out of place among her pack. Ever since she was little, she dreamed of becoming a traveler and exploring different lands and meeting different wolves. When she was an adult, she finally set out on her journey. Her mother gave her a warm farewell, but warned her not to reveal too much information about where she was from and her family's skills. And so, her journey had started.

Lore: Insa's journey had just begun and she found herself both eager and nervous all at once. Who would she meet? Would she be accepted? What might happen?
She was lost in thought, following a small jay that she had found near some trees. She continued to follow it into a large deciduous forest, the trees bare as they weathered the cold of winter. She startled when she heard a few sharp barks, a small wolf watching her suspiciously from a nearby bush.
"Bluey is my friend!" The small male pup growled. He had gray fur that reminded Insa a bit of gravel. "You don't get to hang out with him!"
Before Insa could say something in protest, the small wolf yelped in surprise as he was hoisted into the air, held by the scruff by a large white female. By the looks of it, she was very pregnant. The she-wolf eyed Insa with her electric green eyes that seemed to crackle with energy and then set the small pup down on the forest floor.
"Rokuro! I was looking for you everywhere, you rascal! How many times have I told you not to go running off without my permission?" The she-wolf snarled.
"Sorry, Segun... I had seen Bluey and wanted to hang out..." Rokuro trailed off.
Segun smiled up at Insa. "You look like a traveler if I'm not mistaken."
"I am!" Insa replied excitedly.
"You're not far from Starshade territory. Why don't you come with Rokuro and I and stay with us for a while? We could use the extra paws for pups like this guy here," Segun said, lightly tapping Rokuro's head with her nose.
"That'd be great, thank you," Insa barked, following behind Segun who walked calmly through the trees some more.
Segun walked ahead while Insa began talking with Rokuro. She didn't have much experience with young pups, but this one seemed like he was a lot to handle. Rokuro told Insa about his love of birds. He claimed to be able to speak to them. Curious. Did he know any wolves of her own flock? Could it be possible he has similar powers?
The bird he called Bluey followed behind them the whole way but stopped just before the den which was a small clearing in the trees.
"Bluey seems to like you. And you're nice to talk to, too. I'm sorry for being so mean to you earlier. Why don't you let Bluey accompany you on your travels? He's told me he wants to explore the world too!" Rokuro told Insa. Surprised but delighted, Insa agreed to take Bluey with her and asked to look after Rokuro so they could spend more time together. Insa dedicated her stay to learning how to understand birds through Rokuro's teaching. While she certainly wasn't fluent, she left the Starshade Pack with more understanding of bird calls and felt as though that understanding brought her closer to her ancestors from her own flock.

Lore: Insa could feel the heat from the sun contrasting to the wet slightly cold ground beneath her paws. It was spring and the ground was just starting to defrost. Birds flew to and fro flirting and dancing, trying to gain mates for the season. Insa watched as a scissor tail dropped from the sky twirling around and catching himself at the last moment to zoom past her head and fly back into a tree, landing beside another scissor tail.
"Hello little Bird." a voice whispers in the wind. Insa whips around looking for the voices owner.
"Whose there?!" she asked her voice trembling. "Why are you calling me that?"
"Don't be scared Little Bird." Insa hears again this time from behind her. Jumping around she snarls ready to defend herself, an owl sits there blue light coming from his wings and eyes. He sits there motionless and stares right at her, Insa feels a shiver go up her spine but she presses on
"Was it you who is calling me?"
"So you admit you like the name then?" A she-wolf walks out between the trees the same blue light that came from the owl emanated from her paws and tail.
"I admit no such thing, and why would you call me that in the first place? I am obviously a wolf." The strange she-wolf gives her a wolfish grin and sits beside the owl
"The Moon Goddess told me you speak to birds? Was she wrong?" Insa had heard about the different deity's that roamed the earth and The Moon Goddess was always a popular one among wolves as some wolf packs tended to believe they had been crafted by them, or so she had heard from a fellow traveler who had regaled her with stories from his travels.
"No, she is not wrong I can speak to birds, not fluently but I understand them."
The she-wolf nods her head in understanding and stands making the owl take flight further into the woods.
"Well then Little Bird, I am Weeping Willow Herbalist of Aeternum. It would be an honor to have a wolf such as yourself stay with us. Our scouts could gain an advantage if they could speak to the birds. That is if you are willing to teach them?"
Insa still felt a little shaky from before and felt a little uncertain about the whole thing and if this moon goddess had told her about bird language what else had she told this Weeping Willow?
"My name is Insa, Why are you calling me Little Bird? Is it because I can speak to them?"
The She-wolf winks at Insa and begins to walk in the direction the owl had flown
"Why of course Little Bird why else would I call you that?" Insa could hear the amusement in her voice and felt suspicion rise up in her.
"I don't know." Insa begins to follow Weeping Willow hoping she can find out what information the moon goddess had let slip to this strange wolf, she also wondered if all the wolves in this pack were so strange.
Settling down in Aeternum wasn't as bad or strange as Insa had feared. The pack was actually quite normal. The pack alpha Crimson Maw, his beta and pair bonded Dragon Tongue had greeted her as soon as she had walked into the packs living area a few dens were scattered about, it was hidden in the dense forest and the dens were close together for safety. The alpha was missing an eye and the pair were older wolves, they had already started training their two sons to take over the pack in the next few years. The pack consisted of the alpha's pups, their pairbonds, his grandpups and a few travel wolves' pups that had been left.
"Insaaaa!!!" Blinking out of her recollection Insa looks over to see Weeping Willow's son Treepup. He always wore a charming smile on his face and was nothing like his parents.
"Can you teach me to speak to the birds again today? I invited Mawpup but she said her dad wants her to learn how to stalk prey today. I don't know why grandpa didn't take me." Pouting Treepup plops himself down beside her
"They keep saying I'm going to take over being the herbalist like mom buuuut." Looking around Treepup begins to whisper
"I'm scared of finding out which deity is going to pick me. Whenever mom takes me to the river and communions to the Moon Goddess I always get a little cold and sick so I guess she won't be picking me." Insa feels bad for the little guy he already had so much to live up to and he hadn't even reach the age to be an apprentice yet .
"I'm sure you will be chosen by a great deity. Hey maybe a bird deity will pick you!" Smiling down at him Insa sees a worried expression on his face.
"You really think the pack will be happy if a bird deity picks me? What if they are disappointed because it isn't a big deity like the Moon?" Looking down Treepup quietly asks
"Can you still teach me how to talk to birds today." frowning Insa agrees and the pair walk into the trees to find some birds.
Watching the pups under her care was easy Epsilonpup and Zetapup were pups from a fellow travel wolf who had become great friends with Dragon Tongue, they both had their litters around the same time and had formed a strong bond. Epsilonpup would often make games up to entertain his sister and Zetapup no matter if she found them silly or not would play them for his benefit. Treepup loved to play with the pair and was often sneaking off from his mother's tutelage to wrestle and nap with the duo. It was fun while it lasted but Insa watched as the young pups went from stumbling over their own paws to slowly gain agility and balance. They would start pup training soon and Insa could feel her paws itching to start her new adventure. Sitting the three pups down Insa sadly smiles at them
"You three pups know I am a travel wolf and it seems like my time to leave is coming. I want you pups to know that I have enjoyed watching you grow. My time here is drawing to a close but maybe someday we can meet again. I would love to see what paths you have chosen and how you choose to help your pack grow."
The morning air was crisp the day Insa started her journey, she was ready to find more packs and forge new friendships. She could hear a wolf following her so turning around she spotted Treepup running after her a blue jay feather in his mouth. Dropping it at her feet he panted out
"I want you to keep this! I'm going to wear one to and I really do hope a bird deity choses me and it will remind me of you and how kind you were." Smiling down at him she lowers her head and pushes her nose on his head filling her nose with his scent.
"I will always remember you Treepup and maybe someday I'll come back and see how the bird deity will take care of you and your pack." Turning away from him she begins her journey a bittersweet smile on her face and a blue jay feather behind her ear.

Lore: Spoiler As Insa was exploring she came across sent... to her, she didn't know whether or not it was a single wolf sent or a pack territory sent. As she was curious, she chose to investigate. As she began to get closer the sent got closer and Closser. "I wonder if this is a pack... if so I hope they will allow me to stay for a bit," Insa said to herself. As she got closer she realized she was on the edge of a pack's territory. She chose to sit right at the edge and wait for a wolf to come over to her. She only had to wait a bit till she saw a wolf come running over to her. As the mysterious wolf was running she studied the way the wolf looked. the wolf was all black with a white strip on its muzzle and a white Patch on there back as well as a little white on the tip of there tail. She found them interesting and as the wolf got closer she noted that the wolf had bright blue eyes. The wolf approached her and proceeded to say " Hello there" With a smile on her face. "Oh hello there" Said Insa. "What are you doing around here?" The wolf asked. "Well I am a traveler and I am looking for a place to stay for a bit," Insa said to the wolf. "Ahh... you're a traveler well I have some room in my pack you can stay here as long as you need." The wolf said. "Oh, that's so kind of you!" Said Insa. "oh i almost forgot to introduce myself!" Saif the wolf. "HAHA sorry my name is Mystery I am the lead wolf of the MadhatterPack!." She said with excitement. "Nice to meet you, Mystery," Said Insa with a smile.
They both walked into the back den and Mystery introduced everyone to Insa and told them that she was a traveler. All the pups were excited to hear about all the crazy things she saw in the world. She was the best at telling stories and all the Pupps in the pack loved it. She loved the pack and felt very comfortable with everyone. She grew really close to Jax She ended up expecting 6 pups with Jax! She found herself having to leave once again after she had the pups. It was hard to say goodbye to her pups and Jax but she knew she had to see the world once more. Mystery reassured her that her pups were in good hands and that she will be missed! Insa Ventured off into the woods as she was leaving she could hear the pack howling as a way to say goodbye. Insa teared up a bit and kept moving farther. The howls eventually faded away the farther she went.

Lore: Insa's paws burned with each paw step, her tongue dry and lolling out. The air here was arid and what little grew was hardly enough to provide any amount of shade. This land was so unlike her home in the mountains, where the air was fresh and filled your lungs with cool air. Spring water flowing on nearly every cliff due to snow melt. Aaa snow! What did that feel like again? she wondered, padding on and glancing at the small butterfly who had followed her here. Insa could tell it was having trouble too, its wings flapping hard, trying to keep pace. "Sorry, I've brought you to a wasteland it seems" she begun but was interrupted by another voice. "Wasteland?! Wasteland?!? Humph you apparently don't know where you are. This is a Prairie. Not a wasteland." A black shewolf with red eyes emerged from some nearby bushes followed by another shewolf, her pelt almost blending into the foliage.
"牡羊座 Ohitsujiza, be nice. She's obviously not from around here, she's probably a traveler."
"Humph, yeah alright 銀蘭 Ginran. But she should learn…" but Insa never heard what she should learn as the shewolf known as 銀蘭 Ginran quickly put her tail over 牡羊座 Ohitsujizas' mouth to silence her.
"Uhh haha sorry about my packmate. She's just a bit cranky from the heat, you understand. You look thirsty yourself actually. Here, we know of a small steam that runs through the meadow."
Glaring, 牡羊座 Ohitsujiza spat 銀蘭 Ginrans' tail out and quickly turned, "Lets go then." and begun to lead the way. Insa wasn't sure if she should follow but looking at the shewolf known as 銀蘭 Ginran she knew these two wouldn't hurt her. They soon found the little stream and Insa was able to quench her thirst and soak her tired paws. More talk revealed that 牡羊座 Ohitsujiza and 銀蘭 Ginrans' pack lived nearby in a thicket of low growing Juniper which fended off the worst of the daytime heat. Insa stayed with the pack a for a few nights but soon decided that it was time to move on, And hopefully to somewhere cooler she thought wryly as set off once again.
