Biography
Branwyn was born into the Forest Moon Pack under a first quarter moon on a warm summer evening in the farthest reaches of the packs territory, high upon the mountain tops. It was the kind of evening that seems to swallow you up whole when the moon is unusually bright whilst not being full.
The lunar goddess must have smiled upon her, as she sometimes does with the creatures that worship her beauty, for her fur was the colour of the oceans under the starlights gaze, tinged and tipped with cool icy blues, and splotched all over with patterns of white, the same white covering the tops of the high rocky peaks where she was born. Her fur seeming to shimmer with the very essence of Luna herself.
It was because of this blessing that Moonshine, the head of the Forest Hound Pack, decided to take her under the paws and raise her up as the future head of the pack, despite there not being any blood relation and shattering the generations long tradition that head wolves be directly related to the previous matriarch.
As is the custom in her family, she was trained and raised up as a hunter, and took her role very seriously, after all, the pack depended on her and the other hunters to keep their bellies full. As is the custom in these lands, she was expected to find a muse to accompany her when hunting. This was normally another predatory species, although always one much smaller and weaker than the powerful wolves that ruled these parts of the earth. This was normally a weasel, fox, sometimes even a dog that broke away from the grasp of man.
Much to the shock and awe of her fellowship, it was a strange sight when the princess of the pack, Moonshines pride and joy, returned home one evening with her own muse... A coyote, normally the arch enemy of wolves, trotted in behind her at dawnbreak. But this was no normal coyote, oh no, she was as magical as any of the respected pack members, having also been blessed the the goddess of the moonlit skies.
Branwyn seemed to be harolding a new and strange age, only time would tell if this creature could be trusted to stand beside the future lead as her companion and muse..
