Grackle had wanted to be a chaser ever since she was small. Now old enough to be a chaser, Grackle takes pride in her work and does it with a smile on her face.

Frostbite is a stubborn and bossy wolf, Grackle is one of the few wolves that isn't intimidated by the wolf, instead of amused and taking his bossy nature as a fun challenge. These two have a mutual respect for one another and get along well.


History

Grackle was born to Brass alongside her littermate Marigold. Grackle has always been confident, knowing exactly who she was and who she wanted to be. She spent most of her puphood talking about how she was going to be the pack's best chaser once she got bigger.

Once an adolescent, Grackle couldn't have been more excited about beginning her training as a chaser. Grackle put all her energy into her training, she was going to be the best chaser the pack had ever seen. The older wolves found themselves impressed by Grackles' initiative, which only encouraged the wolf more.

By the time Grackle reached adulthood, she had indeed become a skilled and talented chaser. She wasn't the best, but she was still young and that only encouraged her to continue honing her skill. Her hunting team are often amused by their teammate's enthusiasm and confidence, Grackle brings a great energy to her team.

Grackle was shocked when her mother passed. She knew the day was coming but she hadn't truly accepted it until it happened. Grackle spent a lot of time with her sister Marigold, seeking comfort in their shared grief.

Like her mother before her, Grackle didn't care to take a mate. She didn't care about having pups either, instead liked the idea of being a cool aunt. She knew Marigold was interested in having pups and she would much rather help raise them than raise her own.

Grackle was thrilled to meet her three nieces and one nephew. She knew from her mother's own experience how hard being a single mother would be and made the decision early on to help Marigold with the little terrors. Grackle can't deny she was a little emotional when two of the pups chose to follow in their aunts pawsteps and become chasers.

On the 7th year and 6th month of her life, Grackle made her way to the mountains summit. Caribou, and Marigold keeping her company through most of the journey. Once at the top, looking out at the endless sky, Marigold and Grackle were greeted by their mother, Brass, who gently guided them to the afterlife.
